Brilliant campsite with everything you could ask for.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful remote site. Lush green grass on a field that sweeps down to ponds with views of hills in the background. The shop is brimming with local produce. Facilities basic but good. Lovely to see chickens cows donkeys and sheep roaming around freely. Owner was very welcoming and helpful. I had a peaceful stay and would definitely return.
Disliked It wasn’t nice to see one of the cows being encouraged back after a bid for freedom. The man sat on his mini tractor nudging her back legs repeatedly when she was already walking fast in the right direction which must have hurt her. I thought unnecessarily cruel.

Really nice site and great value for money.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really nice site, very clean and well maintained, and great value for money.
Amazing farm shop, and as an actual working farm we had the pleasure of see calves born while we were there.
The hill over looking the site was a great place to watch the sun set.
Disliked Only down side is the single shower room.
Good system of booking slots, but as we arrived at 5pm for one night, and the slots were booked upto 11am the next day, we weren’t able to get a slot, only improvement the site could make is extending shower facilities.
