Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Beautiful scenery and sunsets. Good location on the edge of the Peak district. Feels like the middle of nowhere but close to shops and attractions.
Site shop is well stocked with camping essentials, food, snacks, fire pits and fire wood.
We stayed on the back field this time and it was very quiet at night time. Our kids loved meeting the goats and donkeys and watching the calves in the field next to us.
Disliked Toilets were clean and well stocked, but could do with modernising and a few more of them.

Liked Quiet little site with great views. Well placed for a walk to Lud's Church.
The kids loved looking at the animals, feeding the donkeys and watching the bats over the lake after sunset.
Facilities were basic and clean.
Farm Shop was well stocked with camping essentials like bacon, tent pegs, firewood, marshmallows and conveniently also sells carrots. 😉
