Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Lovely well kept campsite. Nice level and large grass pitches. We pretty much had the place to ourselves so loads of room for ball games etc. owners were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Loads of info/leaflets on things to do around the area pinned up at the washing up area. Shower and toilet block was spotless and spacious. Couple of pubs within walking distance. Fire pits and logs for hire. All in all me and my son loved it and will definitely be back.
Disliked I suppose you might have to wait for a shower and to wash up at busy times but this wouldn’t personally put me off.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Very friendly greeting from Carrie. A big field so we could pitch anywhere. Very slight slope. Toilet/shower nice and clean. The two closest pubs were closed so Carrie suggested the Stonehouse Brewery a couple of miles away which was most enjoyable.
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Carrie was a lovely owner of this site, frequently saw her keeping the place nice and clean.
Plenty of space at the pitch. Able to use fridges if required, eggs from the hens were delicious.
Added touch of the washing up liquid at the wash station was great as I forgot mine!
Nice pub with great homemade food 15 min walk away and a tea room same distance.
Couldn't fault the location or staff.
Will stay again!

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Level pitches, good value, pub nearby lovely fresh eggs available to buy.
Nice and quiet which is important to get a good night's sleep, only disturbance was a pair of tawny owls which frustratingly we couldn't see!
Not far from a great brewery, about a mile and the town centre is about 2 miles.
Good value in this day and age, all we really need is fresh water and waste disposal, but clean toilets and showers were available too
Disliked Nothing, enjoyed our stay
