Liked Nice woodland area & spacious pitches. Toilet block & amenities were good quality
The shower area is good with a curtain to separate the clothes / drying area and there is a stall to sit on
Disliked Minimal really… having to trail the electric cable behind a seasonal pitches dumped unused stuff made finding where to plug in a tiny bit awkward

This could be a good site but needs some love over winter.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Dog walk area (small.)
Washing up area, clean and tidy.
Gated entrance and exit.
Disliked Sadly a new manager has had to take on due to previous poor management. So kudos to him a week in. However, the campsite is not as described.
The bar and pool table have gone. A shame as a reason for our booking
The whole place is tired. Needs basic strimming and tidying.
Female toilets needs upgrading dated and floor peeling. BH Monday they were disgusting by 1000hrs, detritus still from night before (shame as been well maintained the week before) .
Male toilets are shambolic due to shoddy upgrade. They blocked during our stay and it was clear the manager was frustrated.
Wasn’t the place we anticipated.
It is near a main road so albeit there is a very small secure dog area you have to leave site by car to go anywhere.
WiFi doesn’t work.

The owner was very helpful, but…
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked The owner was very helpful, but they were new owners and hadn't been there long. Handy to have the bus stop just outside the site.
Disliked We had a motorhome and we were put on a pitch 8 for two nights, glad we weren't there for anymore than that as tent were pitched right behind us with three families, parent on two like igloos but they pitched a canopy behind us for the kids to gather and play, they were intrusive walking and running through our pitch when we have paid for it thinking it was our private pitch??!!! Kids played ball it came onto our pitch often we were very angry at the parent as they just carried on talking and laughing no concern at all. Their dog was with the kids and because we had a puppy they would try and bring their dog to us and distrupt ou pup. So the new owners should think about putting tents in a camping field or at least together away from caravans and motorhomes, we will never go there again. We weren't able to enjoy our space, we stayed inside a lot because of them, they maybe should put some hedging around some of the pitches .
Wi-fi didn't work and not a good TV signal there was no bbc channels.
