  • Adults-only Shropshire glamping five minutes' drive from Bridgnorth
  • Ironbridge Valley of Innovation 20 minutes’ drive; Ludlow 35 minutes
  • Stylish, cosy shepherd’s hut with a well-equipped kitchen and ensuite
You’re only five minutes’ drive from a scenic waterfall, a working watermill and a golf course at Raylands Campsite in Shropshire, and there are several gorgeous ‘black-and-white’ towns nearby too. However, when you see your nifty, stylish and adults-only accommodation, no-one would blame you for simply closing the door on the world and staying firmly put in your romantic hideaway. Set on the edge of a four-acre field, the dinky shepherd’s hut has plenty packed into it: a well-equipped kitchen corner with fridge, cooker and kettle, cosy armchairs and a breakfast bar with countryside views. The double bed (all linen provided) has ample storage for all your gear underneath it and there’s a power shower in the smart modern ensuite. Outside, you can languish at the picnic table on the wooden decking while admiring the leafy views and stunning sunsets in clear evenings. Fancy some exercise? Stroll to the local pub (15 minutes’ walk) or amble across the fields into Bridgnorth (35 minutes' walk) to investigate the cafés and shops, or perhaps try the funicular railway trundling up Castle Hill for views to the River Severn.
