What customers say
This small, peaceful site by a fishing pond offers a relaxing retreat with farm animals and beautiful countryside views. Guests rave about the immaculate, modern restrooms. The communal summer house is a popular feature. Owners are friendly, helpful, and proud of the well-kept grounds. Most loved it, though some missed Wi-Fi and wanted more local amenities or dog-walking spots.

Excellent site with great facilities, clean and tidy, friendly owners.

Liked Beautiful small site situated in a quaint village surrounded by great countryside views. On arrival you are greeted by beautiful looking cattle on one side and friendly goats and chickens on the other side who absolutely love attention and of course any food or treats you may have.
The site has a lovely modern toilet and shower block which was kept spotlessly clean. There is also a superb well equipped summerhouse for guests to enjoy a cuppa and chat or to sit and read from the many books available, watch tv, dvd, or simply enjoy the views and watch people fishing. Lots of local info of places of interest, also various menus for takeaways etc, that deliver to the site direct to your plot number! Also on Fridays there is a great fish and chip mobile van that parks up in the village hall grounds from 4.30pm very reasonably priced at £7.50 good portion sizes.
Owners were lovely, friendly and very helpful too. Will definately visit again, highly recommended!
Disliked Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Liked Woodside caravan site is a beautiful oasis away from the madding crowd, beautifully kept, pristine facilities, lovely friendly and helpful warden. Garden , fishing pond, pitches , summerhouse with takeaway deliveries to your pitch. Beautifully silent except for the sounds of nature. Was sad to leave and look forward to return.
