What customers say
This campsite boasts a fantastic location, just a short walk from the beach, with friendly and helpful staff. Facilities, including restrooms and showers, are generally clean and well-maintained, though some guests note they are dated and a trek from tent pitches. Fishing is popular, and the site is convenient for local attractions. Some visitors encountered noise and spacing issues.

Really liked this site . We will definitely be back.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved the site. Most of the time it was lovely & peaceful. One or two loud music playing teenagers on the Sunday. It was so loud you could hear it on the beach. Loved the sound of the wildlife from the lake & was expecting more duck droppings as other reviews had stated but there wasn't any so very pleased.
Disliked Toilets need a revamp. Quite dated and if your only getting a wash there's no shelfs to put your toiletries.

Great location, great fishing lake, great shop
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Cheap and cheerful, clean toilets, regularly cleaned, the cleaner was very friendly, the owner takes pride in his site, some very friendly people on permanent pitches.
Disliked 10A electric, couldn’t run my kettle or air fryer, not had an issue at any other sites previously, the bins were emptied regular, but they were just black bins with an open top which attracted many wasps due to the hot weather, I biffa bin wouldn’t of gone a miss.
