Liked: Proximity of pub ( although no food available); plenty of hot water in showers ( but not many on site at that time); friendly welcome.; pleasent lake - good if you want to fish.
Disliked: Shower block - bins had not been emptied; looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while; £5 on electricity card had run out by the morning ( we had arrived at 2pm - used cooker ring to cook potatoes, fridge, led lights and heating ); in the middle of nowhere - no apparent transport links ( I.e. bus). No wi fi.

Liked: Wonderful setting, nice lake.
Disliked: Noisy campsite (obviously not monitored at all).
Toilets and showers were from the 1960s I thought.

Liked: We stayed here the easter bank Holiday for 3 nights with friends, when we booked on pitch up, we asked if we could have 2 pitches with electric hook up next to each other. Upon arrival on the Friday we met the owners which were very accommodating and helpful, it was all sorted for us to be pitched up on numbers 16 and 17. The weather was good to us as well, Toilets and shower blocks were cleaned every day before midday and the site itself was tidy, it looks like there's some fencing been erected along 1 side which will make it look better.
Disliked: Nothing really I disliked.
