What customers say
Great location near pub, shop, ice cream. Guests loved the ice cream, cafe, fishing, and animals. Flat, spacious pitches with hookups. Some found toilet/shower access difficult due to locked portaloo; generator noise noted. Check-in could be clearer.

Liked We were really lucky when we stayed we were the only people on site which was amazing, but even if all 5 pitches were in use there would still be plenty of space. Kids loved the run round the lake to see the goats, and the lake is well stocked which again was great for the kids without being 'boring' waiting all day for a bite!
There was a singer on at the ice cream parlour which was lovely and the food and ice creams were great value.
The location was great, plenty of shops within a 10min drive.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Lovely quiet site with lots for the kids to do
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked We’ve had a lovely chilled time at Blyton Ice Cream Parlour. The site has 5 pitches which are enclosed and set back from the ice cream parlour and close to the fishing lake and farm animals. It’s lovely and quiet and flat. We travelled with our two kids age 7 and 4 and they loved the park but especially loved the goat walking and feeding and stroking the sheep. George and his partner were so helpful and accommodating letting us spend time with the animals and engaging with the kids.
The ice cream is delicious and a really good price, they even had an Elsa event on the Sunday, there seems to be lots going off over the summer holidays which is great for the kids. The park has lots for the kids too and good for all ages.
The signal is excellent and no issues with the electric or water. We had breakfast in the cafe which was lovely and one of the nights we had Chinese from the takeaway next door to the ice cream parlour which was lovely too.
We can’t wait to be back.

Great stop over pitch, with amazing ice-cream and breakfast
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked As soon as we arrived at the gate we had a warm welcome from the owner explained everything we needed to know and said we could have any pitch as no one else was staying that night. We had ice-cream in the afternoon and an amazing breakfast in the morning.
Disliked Nothing

Liked The location. This is a clean a quite site. Food an ice cream was lovely at cafe. Great park for children. A fishing pond exceptional. Beautiful well kept an hubby (non professional) was v er y please with his catches.
Disliked I wouldn’t say a dislike as it says on the booking information. But this site would be a 10 if it a basic camping toilet shower and washing up area. You can use the cafe toilets 9/9pm.

Liked He site was friendly clean and spacious
Disliked No toilet or washing areas really let the site down which would leave me to not returning

Good site - few improvements needed
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Very clean and well maintained. Stunning views and fishing lake within view. Close to the sheep and goats,
Ice cream and breakfast from the parlour was amazing
Kids loved the park
Disliked No clear instructions on where to go after entering, no reception or anyone to guide you on.
When figured out where we was going, there is a board on the floor to say which pitch number you are on. However someone else was on that pitch, we just pulled onto another one
One portaloo for woman (which was locked the whole weekend) and a wooden shelter for men with urinal.
No set arrival or departure times (which at first we thought was great) until it came to departure day, where the next guests arrived before we even began packing, as planned to stay most of the day (no set departure time) but then felt rushed as the next guests were waiting for us to leave

Basically a spare field with loads of dog poo on
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Ice cream parlour
Disliked No one explained how to check in and no one was around. No answer on the telephone so another camper had to tell me. No play area on the actual camp area only at the entrance in the ice cream parlour building. The ground was very uneven and backed to drive over when towing the caravan, felt like a 4x4 was needed. Also no separate water tap to rinse the toilet cassettes out had to use the drinking water tap. No ladies toilets in use

Good site, will be staying again, needs another water point for waste

Liked We liked the relaxed nature of this site, the kids loved the ice cream shop, animals and fishing pond. Aswell as the open field to ride their bikes. Would recommend this site to friends
Disliked No welcome by staff when we arrived, when we phoned the number on site they didn’t even know we were coming, could do with water point to clear waste out. Drinking water tap only on site
