  • Lincolnshire Wildlife Park 20 minutes’ drive; Skegness half an hour
  • Free entertainment for the whole family and an optional music event
Looking for somewhere to stay with the family that’s wallet friendly? Time to head for the pop-up camping weekend at Revesby Deer Park Campsite, 25 minutes’ drive from Boston in Lincolnshire. The camping field sits next to a deer park on the historic Revesby Estate, and from the minute you hit your pitch, all entertainment and activities are free. Bring your food and drink with you and there’s no need to spend any money at all. There’s a lively schedule of free sporty stuff for everyone to take part in, from zorbing and craft lessons for the kids to dance classes, fancy-dress competitions and nightly sing-sings around the firepits for the whole family, and each day culminates in live music on the covered stage; attendance and tickets are optional. And on the practical side, you are welcome to park up in family groups and get the barbecues going. Please just note that there is no electricity, hot water – although cold water showers are available – or drinking water on the camping field, so please come prepared.
