What customers say

A tranquil, well-kept rural spot. Praised for its top-notch, clean, and unique restrooms. Friendly owners are a highlight. Downsides: some sloped pitches, narrow spots for awnings, and occasional minor facility hiccups.

Liked We really enjoyed our stay at Fox's Furrow. The individual camping areas provided a nice atmosphere and we could spread out comfortably without worrying about being too close to others tents.
The facilities were nice, clean and modern. The location of the site was very peaceful and easy to find.

Liked well laid out and well supplied little site. good quality provision of basic amenities (toilet/sink/shower) and nice addition of little "caravan shop" and mini woodland walk. Handy location for me as a stop over point on my journey north, will be using again. Many thanks

Primitive grass tent campsite (sloping)

Liked The site was immaculately clean, shower was a good size and clean. Washing up area was very well set up. Quiet site, individual pitches. Well lit up entrance. Easy check in and out. A very well loved campsite and. Strong wifi.

Disliked We were aware on booking that the tent pitches were sloped but as we only had a small tent this wasn't a problem.

Local attractions

Getting out to see more of your rural surroundings should be easy enough here, as there are some great walks in the vicinity, along with those bike rides on National Cycle Route 63. Rutland Water (20 minutes’ drive) is another good place for a walk or a bike ride (there’s a path that goes all the way round the lake), and you can also play golf, try your hand at sailing or bounce across the inflatable aqua park. If the kids are keen to meet cute animals, head along to Windmill Farm Park (15 minutes) for indoor and outdoor animals, play areas and a café. Bird on the Hand Falconry Experiences (15 minutes) makes a great day out for those keen to get up close to the big birds. Over in Leicester (20 minutes) there are plenty of options for a day out (especially if you need rainy-day activities) – the city is home to the National Space Centre as well as the Retro Computer Museum and King Richard III Visitor Centre.
