Bell tent
Liked: Lovely setting for the bell tent. Friendly owners who went above and beyond to help when we realised we'd forgotten our firewood so the kids still got to toast marshmallows.
Bell tent itself was fab, comfy and nice addition of a few boardgames. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We went to the space centre which was super easy to get to and the kids (4 and 8) loved.
Disliked: If we were going to stay longer than a couple of nights I'd want a shower but it was perfect for us for a short stay

Bell tent
Liked: Beautiful, peaceful little site in the heart of Leicestershires country side. We stayed in the bell tent with our 3 children and my mother in law stayed in a tent pitched next to us! This site is so quiet and peaceful it's all about being outdoors! 5/6 pitches on the site itself so a lovely little site to go! We had the entire site to ourselves for the weekend it was bliss! The lady who owns the campsite is very welcoming and helpful. We will be coming back.
Disliked: Only one toilet.

Bell tent
Liked: We had a lovely stay in the bell tent, which was laid out with thoughtful touches to make it cosy and comfortable inside and outside with the wooden shelf in porch area, BBQ/ fire-pit and picnic table outside. The location worked for us to be able to explore area and visit family in Nottingham, from the little haven that the nook is, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable should we need to ask any questions.
At night we enjoyed star gazing as we were fortunate to have clear skies, and in the mornings enjoyed taking in the beautiful view while having breakfast.
There is a wonderful local butchers where we got tasty BBQ item's.
The composting toilet was well maintained, a few steps up to it, and thoughtful basket of sanitary items to save those who are on occasion forgetful like me the walk back to the tent ☺️
Fresh drinking water at the sink and on our departure Melissa said they have a plan to put in a shower which would be a bonus.
