What customers say
This is a well-maintained, friendly campsite offering peaceful riverside sites, many with privacy hedges and picnic tables. Facilities, particularly the shower and toilet blocks, are consistently praised as excellent, clean, and spacious. The adjacent George Inn pub is a significant bonus, serving good food and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Easy access from the M5 makes it ideal for stopovers and exploring the local area. The site is also well-equipped for families with a play area.

Excellent facilities, easy access to woods…
Powered grass campsite
Liked Excellent facilities, easy access to woods and pathways for dog walking, the hedges between pitches offer some privacy
Disliked The entry/exit point has to be manually opened by a staff member. If the main person operating this is not on duty staff from the pub have to be called (and this is an inconvenience for them) before it is possible to either enter/exit.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Regarding the barrier for future bookings, this has been put in place for security reasons and to make sure the campsite is safe at all times, there is always someone that can open the height barrier either the warden or the pub, this is not an inconvenience to the pub as they take over when the warden is not on site and it’s always worked this way. The lower barrier (under 2m) is for cars to go in and out freely by using a keycard. Please be patient if your vehicle is over 2m when wanting to arrive/exit, we really appreciate this.
