Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked spectacular views, free roaming cows in the field behind. Toilets cleaned and restocked daily. Shower £1 a minute, water stays nice and hot. Just a nice quiet camp site with basic but clean facilities, would definitely recommend as a base to sleep whilst exploring the Peak District. 10/10

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Absolutely lovely campsite, stunning views, very well kept, and a very warm welcome from the owners at the reception (which was also well stocked with various items). The toilets, showers, and facilities were spacious, clean and tidy, and things were easy to locate. The location itself was quiet and peaceful. As a solo female traveller I felt very at ease and comfortable on the site by myself, and the main house and reception are only a stone's throw from the pitches which is reassuring.
The only notes I have (which aren't a criticism, as it's a more remote site in the peak district so to be expected!) is that some areas of the campsite are on noticeable slopes, and the cell service was often slow or spotty. Not an issue, just something to bear in mind!
