  • Restful pop-up site on a family-run farm looking over the Weaver Hills
  • A 10-minute drive from the Peak District; 20 minutes from Alton Towers
  • Barbecues permitted; pubs within five minutes’ drive of the site
Slow the pace down a little, rest and unwind with the scenery of the Weaver Hills and the Derbyshire countryside around. Weave View Camping is a restful little pop-up place with a simple set-up on a family-run working arable and sheep farm, 10 minutes’ drive away from the Ashbourne, a market town known as the gateway to Dovedale 20 minutes’ drive away. If the Peak District has long been on your wishlist, this site is just 10 minutes' drive away from the edge of the national park and 40 minutes’ drive away from the buzz of Buxton and Bakewell. Other lively towns nearby include Matlock Bath, Leek, Uttoxeter and Derby within half an hour’s drive of the site. Barbecues are allowed at this traditional site where, so families and small groups are all very welcome to pick a plot with ample space. Guests should note that earlier in the year, the land earlier is grazed by sheep so there may be some hints of sheep poo around and about. There’s a real rural feel here with some great countryside scenery and streaky sunsets. It’s not only the sunsets that shine around here, though, as there are some bright eateries that are likely to get your tastebuds tingling, including pubs within five minutes’ drive of the site and more stops with ice cream or local food a little further out.
