What customers say
This campsite boasts stunning valley views and a peaceful vibe. Guests rave about the friendly owner, Ed, and spacious, scenic sites. Facilities are basic but clean, with hot showers. While some pitches are sloped & restrooms can be busy, it's highly recommended for its relaxed atmosphere, natural beauty, and value.

Well kept site, stunning views, friendly Farmer but basic facilities
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Lovely views, well kept pitches and Ed the friendly Farmer! Campsite was very peaceful and so picturesque and bonus of choosing our own pitch on arrival. We booked last minute and it was great for 1 night.
Disliked Hard to find initially, a sign at the turning is needed! Facilities are really basic and only 2 toilets, 2 portaloos and 2 showers for the size of campsite unfortunately.

Lovely site with clean facilities, friendly owner and stunning views.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely, peaceful camp site with amazing views. The site is laid out in about 3 rows on a gentle hill so no matter where you pitch up, you get full view of the amazing scenery without other campers blocking the view or feeling like you are overlooking them too much.
Ed explained everything on arrival very well. You choose your own pitch on arrival, which is fantastic. The toilets and showers were nice and clean. While you can park your car on your pitch, there is also a car park at the entrance to the site too. I made use of this some nights to avoid getting stuck on the grass when it was wet and boggy as I only have a little hatchback.
Nothing seemed like too much trouble for Ed. He would come check on all campers everyday to make sure we were ok and for a chat, which is a lovely touch. He seems to really care about the place.
There's so much to do in the local area too that we couldn't fit into 4 nights, so we will definitely be using this site again in the future.
Disliked The driveway leading to the site is very uneven and rocky. For a little hatchback with low ground clearance you just have to take it slow.
And as its on a hill, some of the pitches are on a slope and some steeper than others. Nothing too dramatic but something to note. Didn't impact our stay.

Liked I had a fantastic time at this campsite, everything was just right. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, the setting was peaceful, and it was clear a lot of care goes into running the place. A special thanks to Ed, the site framer, who was incredibly nice and welcoming. His warmth really added to the experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!
