Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked Such a lovely quiet, secluded site with lots of shade, which we really appreciated in the heatwave. Very friendly owners. Lovely big field so we could easily exercise our dog. Lovely to see the deer, dragonflies and butterflies in the meadow.
From the manager: Thank you for your kind review.
We do have quite a few shady spots, so it is possible to cool off a little. There’s also a little stream nearby which is lovely for cooling dogs down.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
To find camp stay on Mole road and you will see large yellow signs .
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The calm and scenery . Friendly owners. Relaxed atmosphere. Good for a short stay.
Disliked Toilets although basic could be a little better I think. Nowhere to wash crockery but buckets were provided. Difficult to find a large yellow signs only say name of farm in small letters at the bottom of sign.
From the manager: Thank you for your review and particularly for flagging up that guests should look for the yellow signs at the bottom of our farm track. That’s very helpful as we are tricky to find. We would remind guests to study the directions which are on their booking confirmation.
We take your points about facilities and will improve where we can.
It’s nice to know that you plan to visit again and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Nice site
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Friendly owners, timely response to our request, and nice field to camp in. We enjoyed the rustic site and remote location. The ladies loo was clean.
Disliked Unfortunately the site has a sewage works nearby and the smell carried itself over to us! This is why I've given a rating of 7 instead of 9
From the manager: Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed most things about the site.
From time to time we do get a bit of a whiff from the treatment works and the hot weather seems to be a factor. We’re sorry that it had an impact on your enjoyment.
Best wishes
