Séad, go bunúsach, saor in aisce, anseo in Éirinn i gceantar tuaithe álainn, foirfe do dhíograiseoirí an dúlra.Molann aíonna go mór úinéirí cairdiúla, páirceanna fairsinge, agus deiseanna fiadhúlra a fheiceáil.Tá na háiseanna bunúsach (leithris amháin, gan cithfholcadáin), ach tá siad glan agus feidhmiúil.Aontaíonn roinnt aíonna faoi torann tionsclaíoch nó aerfort, agus fadhbanna rochtana bóthair nó comharthaíochta, ach is cosúil go bhfuil an suaimhneas agus an luach ar airgead cinnte go leor.

Great place with relaxed atmosphere
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked I absolutely loved the lay back feel to the place. The owners were fantastic and gave a warm welcome over the phone and the next morning. I had great conversations with the guy who owns the land.
Wonderful walks around the land and through the many forest paths with my little dog. It felt very safe there and really does have an indescribable vibe about the place.
I loved that it’s not far from London and I could drive in just over an hour and truly relax in this place after a busy work week.
Lovely cafe which also offers local meats. Loved the duck eggs I bought and cooked for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. There is something about this little spot.
Disliked Nothing

From the manager: Thank you for taking the trouble to leave such a nice review.
It is indeed secluded, and therefore a bit hard to find!
It’s worth it though!

The walks around here are really lovely. With the Bull at Arborfield about ten minutes away and Siren Craft Brewery about forty minutes, you can easily find some refreshments whichever direction you head in.
Do please come again soon.
Quiet and scenic spot. Perfect for visiting the local area
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Very quiet and scenic spot considering its close proximity to the hubbub. Third time we have stayed here as perfect central spot for us to visit family and friends. Have been for Xmas, summer hols and now springtime and never been disappointed. Loved watching the deer frolic from the camper bedroom window on waking and the bacon and sausage butties from the farm shop are lush. We are self sufficient in our camper so don’t need any additional facilities so suits us just fine 👍

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Quaint campsite with very welcoming staff. Camped on the woodland pitch which was reasonably flat. Facilities very clean.
Disliked Noise from the lorries in the yard behind woods
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: We’re glad you found the pitch and facilities satisfactory.
We’re sorry to hear that the lorry noise disturbed you. The yard does get busy from time to time. Once the weather is better, it’ll be possible to camp further out in the field, which tends to be quieter even when there is traffic in the yard.
We hope you will visit us again.
A Dream Camping spot that YOU need to check out!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked If you’re looking for a spacious and well-kept place to enjoy a couple of days outdoors, Ellie’s Hill Farm is definitely worth adding to your list. The setting itself is one of the highlights — you have the option to pitch up in a wide open clearing with plenty of space around you, or choose a spot closer to the forest for a more tucked-away, peaceful feel. Both areas are extremely clean and clearly well maintained, which makes the whole experience much more comfortable.
From the moment I arrived, everything felt organised and easy. The staff were helpful and even provided a trolley to move camping gear to the pitch, which made setup much easier. It’s small details like that which really improve the overall experience.
The amenities are also very well thought out. The toilets are only about a 2-minute walk away, and there are plenty of them, so even during busier times you don’t end up waiting in queues. Everything was clean and accessible, which is exactly what you want when staying somewhere for a few days.
One thing I would definitely recommend is trying the on-site café. The sausage and egg sandwich was genuinely one of the best I’ve had in a long time — simple, fresh, and done properly. It’s a great addition to the stay and saves you having to worry about meals if you don’t want to cook everything yourself.
Overall, it’s a calm, enjoyable place to camp whether you’re going solo or with friends. The mix of open space, natural surroundings, and good facilities makes it a solid choice for a relaxing outdoor break.

From the manager: Well! What can we say? You are too kind!
We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and are really grateful to you for pointing out the highlights.
A quick word about the farm shop as some guests have remarked on how nice it is: it’s only officially open from Wednesday through to Saturday. We can be persuaded to open up on busy holiday weekends though, and we did just that this Easter Sunday. Please feel free to ask and we’ll do our best!
We very much look forward to seeing you again soon.
