Unpowered grass and earth motorhome site
Liked I adore this campsite- just simple and beautiful with lots of space. Lovely hosts with super clear communication and so accommodating when I was running quite late. Facilities have been extended since I last visited and having the showers was fab.
Disliked only downside is having to pay balance in cash- just a bit of a faff but not a problem.

Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked I cannot say enough nice things about this campsite. Pitch dry and flat, easy to find, outstanding shower and toilet facilities, beautifully decorated for the festive season. Wasihng up and clothes washing facilities- again clean and wonderful. Had the whole place to ourselves and it was a slice of heaven.
Disliked Nothing. Didn't personally use the wifi so gave it 5 stars as benefit of the doubt. Only knocked a star off for location becuse of the narrow roads but hardly the campsite's fault.

The Ledge unpowered grass and gravel campervan or tent site (premium)
Liked This is a really unspoilt campsite. Huge areas of grass with small hardstanding for car or camper van. Host extremely accommodating and took his time to help us plan some walking. Weather curtailed our adventures so will have to come back again. Shower and toilet in block near the house. Basic but clean and functional. We felt like our site was extremely private and the view across the field to the beautiful oak tree asn small stream, little church with mountains beyond was blissful. Good base for black mountain and lovely country park just down the road- also easy to reach on foot.
Disliked Not a dislike as such but would have been good to have area to wash dishes- did ours in the river.

Powered gravel motorhome site
Liked Fantastic little campsite, perfect for a campervan. Amazing views. Friendly and welcoming host happy to share information about local walking. Good, even hard standing whihc means the van doesn't get so dirty, ready access to water. Hot water available for washing up which is a huge bonus and lovely view from the washing up area. Toilet and shower basic but very clean and lots of space to get changed etc. Will definitely use this site again. Beautiful walking from site.
Disliked Not a dislike as such but maybe useful to have a second toilet possible a compost toilet somewhere on site just in case the site is a bit busier- we were lucky enough to have it pretty much to ourselves.
