Liked This is a really lovely site with very friendly owners. The views across to Skiddaw are spectacular. The toilets and showers are very clean. And the price is very reasonable considering you also get EHU as well and free WiFi. We really enjoyed our 2 weeks on the site attending the Keswick Convention. It was so easy to cycle into Keswick every day. And we look forward to returning to this peaceful site again in the future.

Liked lots of space, very quiet, easy access, friendly owner who let us stay on a few hours longer to make the most of the sunshine.

Liked Great location, views of the sea in the distance, good size pitches, clean facilities, quiet at night times.

Disliked nowhere to really empty the chemical toilet apart from the grate used by the motorhomes - but this was adjacent to somebody else's pitch - and we always felt bad empthying here when they were seated just the other side of small hedge. A proper chemical toilet emptying point is the way forward here.

Liked This was a really lovely site in a great location. The owners were very friendly, and we greatly enjoyed the homemade Dorset apple cake, cream and Dorset tea bags. It was great to have a tap on every pitch, and the opportunity to purchase eggs , freshly laid, from the hens and ducks in the field opposite. The views from the plot were pleasant and relaxing, and even though we had a few days of rain, there was still plenty to do in the local area.

Liked This is a great site very close to the bustling little town of Matignon and near the gorgeous Emerald coast. The toilets and facilities were very clean and well maintained. The pool was lovely. The shop had all that we needed, and the site was very quiet and friendly. The site staff were very helpful.

Disliked Just the moles on our pitch that kept digging up the ground each morning!

Liked Amazing location, very beautiful site close to the River Dordogne. Very quiet. Good musical evening once whilst we were there. Lots of shade. Loads to see and explore nearby.

Disliked Due to the design of the toilet and shower block the floor would often get wet and dirty throughout the day. For the English caravans with the large aqua rolls it was very difficult to get water because the only water points were on a few pitches behind people's tents and caravans. This made it embarrassing to walk onto their plots to fill our water carrier.

Liked Great location. Lots to see and do with great bike trails nearby. The site is well kept and very quiet. The facilities are kept clean.

Disliked No hose pipe for cleaning the chemical toilet, and nowhere to empty the grey water. In the end we had to empty it down a grate in the road.

Liked Great location right by the side of the lake and easy access to Dieppe and the ferry port. The site was clean and well cared for, and the toilet block was well cleaned. I appreciate that some of the reviews are critical of the fact that the toilets had no seats or paper - but this is normal on many French sites.

Disliked Some of the pitches around the lake were very small and the caravans were close together. They were house martins nesting above the toilet area, which at first were lovely to see, but rather scary when they were frantically flying around when you were in there! Disliked the midges in the evening, but then we were camping by water.
