Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely site, very safe for children to play. Toilets were adequate but would not have been enough had the site been full.
Disliked Whenever anyone had a shower it flooded the toilet floor and the bins needed emptying more often or more bins provided.

Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Nice campsite close to the sea if you walk down the path and across two fields. Facilities were adequate but I don't know what they would be like in high season as there were only two toilets and two showers in the ladies and three toilets and two showers in the gents. Lovely touch having a tea room on site. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are very spacious and level.
Disliked The only dislike I have is the long walk to the toilets.

Powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Close proximity to town with a path making it a 15 minute stroll. Friendly staff. The grounds would have been brilliant for dog walking had the site not been under water in October so it was very wet under foot.
Disliked Amenities old and outdated although there is a brand new unisex shower block which has a toilet in the same compartment which most people tended to use treading muddy shoes into the unit making it difficult if you wanted to use the shower. Most of the pitches including ours were adjacent to an access road to the 'Mens Shed' so there was traffic going past at speeds too fast for a campsite.

Unpowered concrete and grass campervan site
Liked Brilliant site right next the the canals. Lovely holiday feel. The toilet facilities were clean although we were self contained so didn't have to use them. No electric but that wasn't a problem. It's a no frills campsite and we will definitely be going again.
Disliked There is nothing to dislike apart from a noisy family that blasted out their rendition of 'Living next door to Alice' in the middle of the night, but you can get that on any campsite.

Liked Lovely site with spacious level pitches. Nice walks around the park and close to Lincoln. Friendly, helpful staff. Modern toilets but.........
Disliked The toilet block, although modern, was not to my liking. The ladies were single cubicles with a toilet, shower and wash basin which in itself sounds really nice but men off the campsite were using them and also the fishermen who were visiting for the day were using them. There were toilets and showers for men but they were a little further from the pitches, hence the ladies being used. There could have been signs up at the pot washing stating that they should be kept clean as there was always food in the sink drain.

Powered grass site
Liked Lovely well kept site. We had booked to go on a grass pitch but as the weather wasn't too good we were told we could go on a hard standing pitch. Toilet block was very modern and clean. Just a few minutes walk to Devil's Bridge Waterfalls and only a 12 mile drive into Aberystwyth through some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. Would definitely stay here again.
Disliked The only downside is that there is no designated field to take your dog but there are walks straight off the site.

Liked I have left a 5 star rating as I expect it to be but because of Covid 19 and the fact that the site didn't open until 10th July and our holiday was for the 4th July. I have moved the booking to September and I will be happy to update my review then.

Nantwich, Cheshire, England
Fully-serviced gravel caravan site (premium)
Liked Nice site with really good facilities. The weather was awful but as the pitch was hard standing, we didn't get muddy. We would have liked to walk on the canal towpath but the incessant rain made the area really muddy so we had to spend the weekend on the site, just taking the dog for a walk between showers. The marina is interesting if you like narrow boats and the picnic areas overlooking the marina would be really nice in the summer.

From the manager: Thank you for your kind review. We look forward to hopefully seeing you in the summer, the rain has been awful! Kind regards The Aqueduct Team

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Lovely site and everyone is friendly. Many people seem to leave their vans on site and return at weekends so it has a really friendly atmosphere as people know each other. There is a disused railway track known as Whitegate Way from the park which you can walk or cycle to either Dalamere Forest one way or Winsford the other and if you walk towards Winsford you can stop at Whitegate Station Cafe where the hospitality is second to none.
Disliked There is nothing I disliked about this site.
