  • Dog-friendly site 10 minutes’ walk from riverside Upton upon Severn
  • Malvern Hills five minutes’ drive, and Tewkesbury 15 minutes
  • Restaurants, marina and boat hire in nearby in Upton
Black-and-white houses, a stunning riverside, a packed schedule of festivals and pubs to please fond-of-food punters: that’s a snapshot of Upton upon Severn, a waterside town 10 minutes’ walk away from The Old Allotments in Worcestershire. The USPs for this low-key site are just as pleasing: dog-friendly pitches, a location on the banks of the Severn and facilities that include toilets and showers, an Elsan point and a washing-up sink. With such a handy location so close to the town, riverside walks or cruising down the river on a hire boat could soon be on the horizon – Upton upon Severn has a busy marina with a bar, restaurant and boat hire. There are supermarkets five minutes’ walk from the site as well as pubs, eateries and takeaways a little further away. Regular events take place at the Three Counties Showground (10 minutes’ drive), and The Old Allotments is also a handy base for exploring the natural beauty of Malvern Hills National Landscape.

What customers say

A well-kept, friendly spot with generous pitches. A handy walk to Upton-upon-Severn's shops and pubs. Facilities are clean, if basic. Some road noise possible, but generally fine. Secure entry. Many want to come back!

Liked Lovely space. Perfect for an over night stay or 3. We visited in a camper van with awning. Toilets were clean. Didn't use the showers so can't comment. Waste system all good. Very close for a short walk (7mins) to the town. Would definitely stay again

Liked Lovely, clean site with large pitches close enough to town to walk easily.
Would definitely book again.
If you like listening to bird song then you’re in luck as well .

Disliked Showers were clean but the room was not heated so a bit of a shock first thing in the morning.
The road noise could be a bit intense but not a major concern .
