Liked Well kept site, the toilet blocks were very clean and the warden was very helpful and friendly

Disliked Dog walk area encroached on privacy of other campers as it circled around where people were camping. Booked super pitch but electric hook up point was some distance from pitch so needed a very long cable to plug in not mentioned when booking. The nearest place to eat was 0.9 miles way and being disabled was a struggle

From the manager: I'm pleased that, overall, you agree with many other visitors that we provide a well-run site, however I'm disappointed regarding the aspects of the site you were not happy about. 1. On arrival, you were offered an extension power cable by our helpful Warden, which you chose to refuse. I think this is the first time in my 20 years of custodianship this has been reported as an issue. 2. Having checked with our Wardens, you didn't mention the 'pathway behind your pitch' issue during your 3 night stay. Had you done so, we would have been more than happy to offer you an alternative pitch and to help you to relocate your motorhome. 3. I believe that you must have missed the most local pub, The Castle, which, according to Google Maps and Ordnance Survey is 0.45 miles from the site. Again, if you had mentioned this to the Wardens at the time, you might have enjoyed a pleasant evening in a nice country pub. Roger Stokes, Site Owner.

Liked Really well kept site we stayed on the village green hard standing pitch no 3 Lots fir kids to do and very dog friendly

Disliked Had issues with WiFi connection and no signal for tv. Not everywhere is accessible if you use a mobility scooter

Liked Loved our first two night stay at Woodovis holiday park . Stayed in our motorhome on a super pitch and couldn’t be more impressed. Facilities very well kept and staff so friendly and welcoming.

Liked Spacious touring pitches with good access to all amenities. Amazing sea views and lots to do.

Disliked Touring pitches could be better defined as people were setting up on wrong area to their pitch which ment encroaching on other’s privacy

Liked Well maintained site with friendly staff who are happy to assist with any questions. Site is quiet and peaceful with a well kept woodland walk for exercising your dogs

Disliked Monty’s bar can get very busy and seating is limited

Liked Made to feel very welcome during our stay. Anglers rest bar and grill offered good food and choice of beers and ales. Addition of dog walking area was an added bonus

Disliked Having stayed in a motorhome pitch the rule of no hosepipes meant we were unable to fill our water tank so spent the weekend having to fill water butts Pitch 31 right beside lamppost which attracted all sorts of bugs at night

It is fine to fill your water tank by hose. The signs are meant to alert people that vans and vehicles cannot be washed using the hoses.

Liked Well maintained site with pub that served well presented food at a reasonable price.

Disliked No Wifi and phone signal ( o2) across the site,could get WiFi inside the bar but no in the beer garden. Unable to get any tv signals at the pitch. Not sure what can be done about this due to site being in a valley.
