If you like the sound of that, you’ll most likely love a stay at St Davids Farm Camping, a simple site a mile from Britain’s smallest city. This peaceful place prides itself on a friendly and relaxed atmosphere – the four fields here are part of a working farm where you’re welcome to pick your own pitch. No need to fight for the best spots either, for all fields are treated to those spectacular views over St Brides Bay and equally easy access to the coast. There’s plenty of space for kids to play games around the site, and dogs are welcome, both here and on Caerfai beach a leisurely 10-minute amble away. Walks are a top pick in the area around the site, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path just a few minutes away. The site's basic amenities include well-kept gents’ and ladies’ toilets and showers; standpipes for drinking water, and picnic benches. There are plenty of places to retreat to for eats and drinks in St Davids.

Liked Friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff can't recommend this location enough! Clean showers and toilets the staff are constantly working to maintain a high standard, easy access to coastal walks and multiple beaches with st David's a short walk away this is a great location for a family trip!

Liked Great location, 5 min walk to a stunning cove below. Being on a hill
Windy in the tent but the views and location made up for it. Plenty of space for kids to play. Very friendly helpful staff at reception, clean toilets and showers. Loved it

Liked Everything! The views, the pitches, of which are multiple options. The facilities are top notch too with clean hot showers, washing up area with fabulous views, and a toilets with plentiful toilet roll and soap at the hand wash facilities.
Very close to the coast and to Caerfai beach with easy access to the coastal path.
Great potential for walking , climbing, kayaking etc etc, never a dull moment!
Close enough also to walk into St David’s too. Topping it all though was the welcome, Rob goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as easy and comfortable as possible. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Emma & Chris

Liked I had the most wonderful week away. On arrival, Rob was so welcoming and shared information about the site and surrounding areas and couldn't have been more helpful. The site was peaceful, and there was so much space to choose a pitch, not cramped at all. The views were amazing and the facilities very clean. They have a charging area for power banks in reception which was very much appreciated. As a solo female camper l felt very safe and would love to return next year.

Disliked Having to leave :)

Make for Caerfai beach first for a sheltered setting, colourful cliffs and birdwatching for species such as choughs, fulmars, peregrine falcons and gannets from the huge colony on nearby Grassholm Island. Surfing, kayaking, coasteering, climbing and boat trips are all easily arranged around the bay and coast too: drop into the surf school at St Davids or ask farm owners Christine and Robert for info and tips. After some time at the beach, stroll along to spectacular St Davids centre a mile from the site, for its stunning cathedral, rightly hailed as a must-see, along with the medieval Bishops Palace and a good selection of restaurants, cafés, pubs, gift shops and galleries. Call in too to the Oriel y Parc Gallery and Visitor Centre to delve into the history of the city and investiage attractions and activities nearby. If you're up for a coastal hike (you really should around these parts), take the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from Oriel y Parc to Whitesands Bay or St Justinians; for boat trips and nature spotting, sail off from St Davids Peninsula around Ramsey and Grassholm islands to spy seabirds, porpoises and dolphins, as well as those thousands of Grassholm gannets.
