What customers say

Beautifully kept campsite, loved for its river views, peace, and super clean facilities. Spacious pitches, many with river access. Friendly, helpful owners. Enjoyed easy riverside walks. WiFi can be patchy, roads narrow. Highly recommended tranquil spot, many want to return.

Liked This was our third visit to the site and it was great as ever. We requested the very end of the site for our small group so we could be close to the stream as the kids (and adults) love playing in it. The owners are so helpful and visible and the facilities are always clean. As we left on bank holiday Monday, the owner reassured us that we didn’t need to rush to leave so we could take our time packing up. Compared with so many others sites it’s a bargain too. We will be back 😁

Liked Absolutely beautiful, it was so peaceful to listen to the stream that ran behind us.
Deep in the valley, with only the sounds of nature, we had a wonderful relaxing time and behind the reception is a beautiful walk alongside the river.
The pitch area was mostly level, with all the amenities close by, the showers were excellent and the toilets were kept very clean.
The sites great for walkers, families and dog friendly.
We’d initially booked for just one night, but we stayed another night because we loved it.
The owner was very welcoming and told us to pitch were we wanted, then he kindly gave us the code for the free WiFi.

Liked 🌄 A Peaceful Retreat in the Heart of Nature – Ceiriog Valley Campsite, Llangollen 🏕️

We recently stayed at Ceiriog Valley Campsite and were absolutely blown away by the experience. Whether you're pitching a tent, parking a camper van, or touring with a caravan, this site offers everything you could hope for—and more.

The scenery is simply breathtaking. Nestled in the lush Welsh countryside, the views stretch across rolling hills and peaceful woodlands, making it the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean showers, tidy grounds, and thoughtful amenities made it feel like a home away from home.

What truly sets this campsite apart is the owner. So accommodating, friendly, and genuinely helpful—nothing was ever too much trouble. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making every guest feel welcome and cared for.

Whether you're looking for tranquility, great facilities, or just a warm, personal touch, Ceiriog Valley delivers on all fronts. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a peaceful escape in beautiful surroundings

Local attractions

If walking's your passion, this is the place for you, say the owners of Ceiriog Valley Park… The North Berwyn Way is for experienced or energetic hikers, covering 15 miles of waymarked route split into five sections; start at Llangollen if you want to tackle the full route. The Dee Valley Way is also waymarked over 15 miles and runs from Llangollen to Corwen. More energetic walks – and climbs – are around the Berwyn Mountains such as the hike around the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, but if you want to take things a tad more easily, take the steam train of the Llangollen Railway for the 10 miles between Llangollen and Corwen, or take a ride via a horse-drawn boat on Llangollen Canal, part of a World Heritage Site. Pony trekking and quad biking are also available in the area.
