Really lovely site!
Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely place! The man who showed us to our pitch was friendly and helpful. The stream was brilliant for the kids. They loved having a paddle and trying to get across on the stones. The toilet block was really clean and we liked that the showers were proper showers and not push button ones. The showers are free to use even though the pitch up listing says otherwise. There’s a washing up area and a freezer for ice packs, I also noticed that there was a washing machine and tumble dryer that you could pay to use. It’s quite a small campsite so nice and peaceful but the kids still found other kids to play football with. There isn’t much mobile signal but the WiFi is great. We will definitely return!

Liked I received a warm welcome. Hosts were very pleasant and approachable and this made me feel safe. The site was quiet, very well maintained clean and tidy. Showers and toilets were clean and worked perfectly. The outdoor sink for washing up was very good. Recycling bins in good order and well managed. I had a lovely walk by the river, accessible from the site. Wifi had good reception.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely, peaceful, well run site.
In the van by the river what's not to like.
Oswestry and Chirk are only 15 mins max away.
Definitely use it again.
Look at the pitch up details for how to get to the site. Don't rely on sat nav.
