Country walks, pub lunches and buckets full of beach trips… to list out every single thing you have to look forward to at Dinarth Hall Caravan and Camping would take some time, as this North Wales site is very conveniently based in the town of Rhos on Sea, 10 minutes’ drive from Llandudno and five minutes’ drive away from Colwyn Bay Beach. If you’re very much a countryside sort of person, it’ll be nice news that the site is on a working farm setting surrounded by fields and country walks with horses frequently passing by the site. There are just basic facilities, including toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a washing machine and dryer for laundry. There’s a lovely country pub just half an hour’s walk away for your supper or an American diner-style restaurant 10 minutes’ walk away in the other direction. If you’d rather sort yourself out, have a wander up the hill to the small shop 10 minutes’ walk away. The bus, which stops at the end of the road, comes just over every 10 minutes if you feeling like abandoning the car for the weekend. Not that you’ll need it that much if you’ve got beach days at the top of your agenda, because it’s only a 25-minute walk to Rhos on Sea beach and Colwyn Bay Beach is also within walking distance. If you’re driving to Colwyn Bay, there’s plenty of parking (and lots of ice cream vans to go with that). You may want to shift your watersports gear or bicycles down there, as there’s a cycling path along the front and often great conditions for some water activities.

  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
  • Please note that the shower facilities are unisex.
  • Electricity is metered on site at £0.42 per kWh and must be paid onsite by either debit/credit card via the website link/QR code provided on the meter, or at the office.

Liked Large camping area, drink shed & cake shed on site, great location. Good price for the pitch, no allocated tent pitches so choose where you like. Shower cubicles are roomy with 2 clothes hooks and a small bench. Quiet on Sunday once the weekend kno*heads left.

Disliked The tent overflow field wasn’t mowed. There was no policing of noise so parties went on til 3am. It’s what I’d call a “chav site”, where people go to party & let kids & dogs run around unchecked with no respect for fellow campers.
Toilets and showers are not close to the camping fields, are old & rough.

Liked We konden hier niet blij van worden, alleen eerder vertrekken hielp.

Disliked Sanitair was verschrikkelijk. Toiletten waren echt vies. Douches waren er te weinig en ver weg.
Geen regels dus veel overlast s’nachts. Verder was het op de boerderij zelf ook een zooi. Geen respect voorde kampeerders. We zijn eerder vertrokken ook al hadden we betaald voor meer dagen.

Liked Very comfortable a friendly. We was a large group an had a great spot at second field near back by the river atmosphere around the farm was also very warm and friendly with everyone just enjoying themselves definitely book again

Liked Good location, good space for kids and for pitching up. Clean space. Very helpful when our hook up didn’t work.

Disliked Men’s toilets were quite bad. Broken toilet seats.

Liked Freundlicher Empfang,unkomplizierte Buchung.Ein großer Campingplatz mit einem rustikalen Charme.Die Sanitäranlagen sind einfach ,von manchen Stellplätze ein Stück zu laufen,aber immer sauber!
Die Bushaltestelle nach llandudno ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.So eignet sich der Platz sehr gut ,um llandudno oder Conwy zu erkunden.Co op und ein Pub sind auch fussläufig.

Showers were OK nice and warm
The little shed had nice sweets and cake

Disliked Mostly everything the 6 guys camped next to us Friday night started great then at 2:30 am Saturday morning they were still drinking playing music
Saturday they went out at 6 came back past midnight and then partied on until 4:30 in the morning EPIC
The male toilets looked like someone had taken them to bits there were only 3 toilet seats and two cubicles had toilet paper the rest had excrement all over the place

Local attractions

Llandudno (10 minutes’ drive) is a cracking spot for a good wander, with shops, a pier, a promenade and a beach. You may spot a few goats wandering around the edge of town; they’ll have lost their way from Great Orme (20 minutes) just past Llandudno. The green limestone slopes of the Great Orme are not just for the goats, of course, with a tramway and a cable car providing access to the fab views from the 209-metre slope, a café or a playground. Back in Llandudno, get picked up by one of the open-top buses which run in summer from Llandudno Pier. They head over to stunning Conwy (10 minutes’ drive), past the spectacular 13th-century Conwy Castle, cobbled streets, bakeries and the cobbled streets typical of such a traditional Welsh port town.
