Country walks, pub lunches and buckets full of beach trips… to list out every single thing you have to look forward to at Dinarth Hall Caravan and Camping would take some time, as this North Wales site is very conveniently based in the town of Rhos on Sea, 10 minutes’ drive from Llandudno and five minutes’ drive away from Colwyn Bay Beach. If you’re very much a countryside sort of person, it’ll be nice news that the site is on a working farm setting surrounded by fields and country walks with horses frequently passing by the site. There are just basic facilities, including toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a washing machine and dryer for laundry. There’s a lovely country pub just half an hour’s walk away for your supper or an American diner-style restaurant 10 minutes’ walk away in the other direction. If you’d rather sort yourself out, have a wander up the hill to the small shop 10 minutes’ walk away. The bus, which stops at the end of the road, comes just over every 10 minutes if you feeling like abandoning the car for the weekend. Not that you’ll need it that much if you’ve got beach days at the top of your agenda, because it’s only a 25-minute walk to Rhos on Sea beach and Colwyn Bay Beach is also within walking distance. If you’re driving to Colwyn Bay, there’s plenty of parking (and lots of ice cream vans to go with that). You may want to shift your watersports gear or bicycles down there, as there’s a cycling path along the front and often great conditions for some water activities.

Gostou First night was great
Lovely and quiet after children had gone to sleep

Não gostou 2nd night was horrendous. Woken up at 1.45 by drunken people getting out of a car very loudly arguing and then vommiting near our van.
This continued on and off until sunrise when arguing with staff and finally getting people to leave. Shame they didn’t do it earlier.

Gostou Lovely campsite surrounded by great views. Very friendly and helpful and nice they do a per person rate as I was traveling alone. Very close to Llandudno, Rhos on Sea and Colwyn Bay which was great 😊

Gostou Nice scenery, didn’t see as much of the working farm as would have liked but overall for location and the size of the field for our daughter to play it was ok

Gostou The site was in a good position, close to a frequent public transport service that takes you along the North Wales Coast and further afield.
The site is as described, basic, but clean enough.

Não gostou The facilities are not in full working order and if the site had been full then the working facilities would be insufficient.
The sanitary ware is ancient and there really is a pressing need for a no-frills upgrade if only to continue to deserve the description of basic.

Gostou Very open space, lovely views depending which field your in. Laundry on site. Easy check in. Cheap. It's on a working farm to be careful driving through.

Não gostou The showers where near the entrance to the farm, the camping fields further away, not near toilets. The Toilets weren't very nice, Old, worn out sinks and doors. Literally just functional and a strong urine smell aswell. No real pitch layouts on the camping field, just told to park anywhere so there where tents pitched up in all manner of ways. Hard to find a campervan spot without invading someone's space.

Gostou Location was fantastic, big camping pitches and lots of room.
Showers was good temperature, actually hot, and good pressure of water.
The views was beautiful and great to see the animals.
Love the fact the ice-cream man came on site.

Atrações locais

Llandudno (10 minutes’ drive) is a cracking spot for a good wander, with shops, a pier, a promenade and a beach. You may spot a few goats wandering around the edge of town; they’ll have lost their way from Great Orme (20 minutes) just past Llandudno. The green limestone slopes of the Great Orme are not just for the goats, of course, with a tramway and a cable car providing access to the fab views from the 209-metre slope, a café or a playground. Back in Llandudno, get picked up by one of the open-top buses which run in summer from Llandudno Pier. They head over to stunning Conwy (10 minutes’ drive), past the spectacular 13th-century Conwy Castle, cobbled streets, bakeries and the cobbled streets typical of such a traditional Welsh port town.
