What customers say
A peaceful adults-only escape, loved for its stunning rural views, spacious pitches, and great facilities like the campers' barn & honesty shop. Nature and walks are big draws. Very popular, with some shower queues at peak times. Most guests want to come back.

Liked The whole site was well looked after with paths easy to find your way around, all bathrooms where very clean and well maintained.
The barn was a very welcome site on the one rainy day we had on our 4 day visit and loved seeing all the sheep, horses and kits on the site also.
A great location to start for a motorcycle tour of Wales also.

Liked The views of pen y fan, the beautiful meadows, huge pitches, the barn is brilliant, clean showers and toilets, fridge, freezer, it’s all there. The owners are lovely. It’s peaceful, spectacular and above all super relaxing. Can’t wait to have the third visit.

Great campsites would definitely recommend and will be returning
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Great friendly hosts, amazing campsite with great indoor barn space for community engagement, cooking and somewhere dry to hide when it's wet. Apple juice from the honesty shop is great!
Disliked Honest shop only sells fairly boojie, more expensive products. Would be nice to have some cheaper more affordable items

From the manager: Hi Ben, thanks for your review and comments.
Genuinely not sure in what world Mars Bars, Cadbury's Dairy Milk, tins of Heinz Sausage and Beans, Branston baked beans, tinned tomatoes, Kettle Crisps (borderline 'boojie'?) McVities Chocolate Digestives, Hobnobs, boxes of plain white pasta, Colgate toothpaste, Imperial Leather Soap, Listerine mouthwash, milk and eggs are thought of as 'boojie'. All our items are sold at RRP, and the majority, which come from Batley's wholesaler have the prices printed on the packets. We also stock (what we think) are a nice range of 'ready meal' type foods which are useful for people who need to cook something quick and nutritious, eg, backpackers and cyclists who cannot carry much food with them. Most people appreciate the convenience and range in our little honesty shop. And of course there is no obligation to buy from the shop - it is just something we offer should people need it. It never ceases to amaze me what some people will find to complain about. Theresa.
Wonderful, a treasure
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked I've been to this campsite many times over the last 5 years.
The owners, Teresa & Ian have created a wonderful place. At the start of each new season it's always exciting to see what new hedgerows & trees have been planted. Throughout the season it's a joy to see the wildflowers growing in the centre of each camping field.
There's a lovely barn area. Toilets and showers are lovely.

This is my third season staying…
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked This is my third season staying at Pwllyn Farm (my 11th or 12th stay). It is like ‘coming home’, a special place indeed. It is so much more than just a well run campsite in a glorious setting. The meadows are soft and beautiful, the many birds are full of joy, the harmony with nature and the connection with the past are palpable. Stroll into the ancient woodland, in the evening, where the veil with our forefathers is gossamer thin, watch the sun rise across the misty meadow, or set in a sky that never ends, this place is bewitching. We are privileged that Theresa and Ian work hard to allow us a few months of the year to enjoy the splendour of this delightful corner of the Brecon Beacons.
