What customers say
Pwllyn Farm Camping: Tranquil Brecon Beacons views. Guests rave about spacious pitches, clean facilities, communal barn. Wildlife, peace a plus. More showers needed in peak season, but honesty shop & friendly owners are tops.

Back to nature with stunning views, at a price you can't grumble at.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked This place is spectacular if you love nature and fantastic views of stunning Welsh countryside.
Waking up in the morning with a view of Pen Y Fan was just a pure treat.
The site it's self, the field we stayed in had beautiful wild flowers in the center, with lots of bees and other insects going about their business.
The showers and toilet facilities were good. The showers themselves were great. Good pressure and FREE! So no complaints there.
With the four waterfalls trail so close and great hikes,.and just a short drive to Bike park Wale, why we were they, it's a fantastic find. And hope to go back.
Disliked It's not a dislike. Just an observation. As good as the showers where, there is only 2. So we had a bit of a wait. Not very long. So this isn't a moan.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked One of the best wild camping places I have been
Disliked Just one minor drawback is the horse flies (I think they are). I got nibbled plenty and am now very lumpy

Lots of space, lots of freedom,…
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Lots of space, lots of freedom, surrounded by nature. All you need is there. The honesty shop is very helpful too.
Disliked Be careful on the road to the camping, especially when riding a loaded motorcycle. It's a bumpy one and there are two gates to open on approach.

Peaceful, scenic, and great facilities.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked This campsite allows for peaceful camping with beautiful views of pen y fan.
- Pitches.
There is a half dozen different fields to chose from freely as you arrive, each with a selection of large pitches seperated by longer grass. This makes each pitch feel unique and secluded.
- Views.
If you pick the right spot, you will wake up to an amazing view at the foot of pen y fan.
- Facilities.
The camper's barn is stocked with food and refrigated drinks (some locally produced) and has games, books, sofas, and a basic cooking facilities. All other standard facilities are provided.
- Value.
I visited in June and the campsite felt fairly quiet. With this and all the great facilities, the price is very reasonable and I would camp here again.
Disliked - Showers.
There are two showers for the campsite so get in as soon as you can. The showers also don't have great drainage. They are clearly well maintained, the state of the shower is just a bit dependent on how well the previous occupant mopped.
- Wifi.
No wifi and very little signal by mobile data.
- Shop.
(This is just an opportunity for improvement, not an issue.)
I loved the honesty shop, it had a great selection of food and drink. I would've spent more if there was a broader selection of brecon themed souveiners (coasters, patches, bookmarks, etc). Most was sold out when I visited.
