Liked Had a really enjoyable midweek stay here. The site is big, you can camp where you like and have a campfire going. All the staff are really great. They have a shop on site selling basics plus a cup of coffee and you can charge your phone or freeze your ice pack for free. Toilets and showers are good. Scenery is lovely and you can wander through woodland or play games on lots of open space. We loved the Frisbee golf which is quite cheap. Two free cans of Thatchers cider was a lovely welcome present too!

Disliked Activities are expensive eg rifle shooting £20 per child. My kids would have liked to have done more than 1 but budgets couldn't allow it.

Disliked The wind so make sure you pitch with the weather in mind. We had a fairly strong SW wind blowing into us for most of the time. If we'd pitched along a sheltered hedge it would have been more pleasant

Liked Nice relaxed vibe, friendly staff, lots of kids so very family friendly, high quality grass pitches that are well cut but with longer grass and meadow patches between the cut grass pitches, general lovely countryside. Clean facilities, great fire pits to rent, nice shop for kids to buy ice lollies, good climbing frame for kids. Good location for walks and activities close by.

Liked This is a nice quiet spot with lovely views from the top of the field. There are limited facilities but a shower and toilet block are provided and also a sink to do washing up in. Bob the owner is a friendly guy who looks after his guests very well. It is very good value and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Disliked The field is sloping but levels off at the top - this restricts the amount of space quite a bit.
