What customers say
Friendly staff, fab location near Cheddar Gorge, clean facilities (showers ace!). Spacious pitches, chill vibe, good food and entertainment. A bit muddy/noisy at times, but overall, highly recommended. They've upgraded and really nail service and cleanliness.

Overall, a great campsite but too noisy for us with young children
Unpowered grass site
Liked The overall feel of the camp when we first arrived was fantastic. We felt very welcomed when we were checking in. A kind lady found us a nice spot where we could set up our tent, with our friends camper van next to us. The toilet/shower facilities were very clean. They had lots to do there for children - we had a 5 and 11 year old with us. The singer/guitar player in the evening was brilliant and we (the adults) particularly loved the cocktails from the bus bar! Definitely a bonus 👌 also for £5 you can buy a smores kit from the shop - the kids loved toasting marshmallows on the fire 🔥
Disliked I wish I could have given this camp 10 stars as it was just the most perfect day... until it was time to go to sleep. We didn't get settled until around 11pm (which was late for the 5 year old) and we were told that there was a noise curfew of 11pm. It got to 11:30pm... didn't worry too much, as people were enjoying themselves and probably weren't watching the time! 12am... still noisy. 1am... we could still hear music !! and people laughing and talking very loudly. I tried ringing the out of hours contact number for the site and left a message but didn't hear back from anyone. That sort of put a downer on our little getaway. It was only a night, but we all felt exhausted the next day for having very little sleep!

Excellent campsite, so close to cheddar gorge caves, very friendly
Powered grass site
Liked Friendly, efficient welcome, great size pitches with plenty of room, great showers and toilets (I asked to be pitched close to toilets and we were but it wasn't too close). Good bar choices, good entertainment. Easy recycling, close enough to walk into town. Easy options for takeaway to be delivered to the campsite. Support organised pre-booking info, including videos to explain things.
Disliked They ran out of food at the take away places on site and we didn't want to cook but they were very quick to give us other options.

Great campsite but packed like sardines.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely staff. Great camping ground. Good food vendors. Clean site with good showers and toilets
Disliked Vans parked too close together. Within 3 metres! I couldn't even wind my shade out.
Like parking in a car park.
I left early as this was not comfortable for me. In this heat I felt it was also a fire hazard being so close.
