Charming, peaceful spot with great views. Good for motorhomes. Walk to Looe (steep climb back!). Llamas and a cafe. Owners are tops. Some traffic noise, but mostly quiet. Cafe great for snacks, check opening days.

Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked A really beautiful, basic and small campsite for motorhomes. Stephen gave us a really warm welcome to his peaceful and picturesque site which offers grass pitches (not quite level so bring ramps) fresh water, rubbish and recycling, plus a portaloo. What makes this site special is the business is also a plant nursery with a café onsite, with covered outdoor seating and delicious cakes. We enjoyed the variety of birds to watch, and if you're not a twitcher, there are llamas on site too! The site is walkable in half an hour to and 40 mins from the beautiful town of Looe. Highly recommend. 🌺

Liked Lovely camp site and nursery. Gorgeous views from our pitch. About 20 to 30 minute walk to Looe downhill. Great host very helpful.
Disliked It stated no shower so we were aware of this but it would have been perfect if there was a shower there.

Lovely small campsite just outside Looe
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Lovely small campsite just outside Looe - 5 mins drive, or a walk down a steep road. Stayed on a Saturday night in October and we were the only people there! Unfortunately the cafe was shut on the Saturday due to the rainy / windy weather, however we were offered hot drinks if we wanted them. The cafe is also always shut on Sundays and Mondays. There's a large field next to the camping field which we used to exercise the dog. Also saw some llamas in the next field. Has all you need for a one night stop - toilet, water tap, plenty of space and a flat field. Easy access to Looe, where (out of season) we had no problem parking our campervan for a reasonable price. Fish and chip restaurant/ takeaway next door was good, though popular on a Saturday night, so maybe worth booking if you want to sit in.
