If you’re all piling in for a family holiday, you can spend days building sandcastles, running around on the beach with the kids and cooling off in the sea. Travelling as a couple? You’ll have spectacular sea views across St Ives Bay and you’re almost guaranteed colourful sunsets as a backdrop for romantic twilight strolls on the sand. And when kicking back and enjoying the views is not quite enough for you (and, let’s face it, the kids will want more), how about crazy golf, tennis or the amusement arcades? You can burn off more energy at the surf school or in the heated indoor swimming pool, and there are play areas scattered around the park to wear the kids out properly. With all this going on, make sure you leave time to unwind for a drink at the terrace bar with superb views over the bay and a menu of small, tapas-style snacks – there’s entertainment in the evenings too. Or you may like to make a night of it with the family over a freshly prepared meal at Sands Bistro? Forgotten an important ingredient or need milk for your morning cuppa? Awesome spot on a huge beach! Staff are ace, pitches are roomy, and facilities (pool included!) are top-notch. Beach access can be a bit steep, but the views and Cornwall access are grouse. Showers are mostly sorted. Great for families, though some reckon it's a bit pricey.

Liked Stunning beach access, shop on site, reasonably priced bar and restaurant. Great views, kids park, local bus connections to St Ives.

Disliked Steep hills to get to pitch and beach, not suitable for those less mobile

Liked Clean large pitches , beautiful views over the dunes and sea .
Didn’t use club house/games room etc as too far from pitch so can’t comment on this.

Disliked Grotty shower block corners haven’t been cleaned for months. no stool only 2 hooks on door. Extremely large site, wasn’t welcoming & don’t get shown to a pitch, it’s all a bit first come first served find it yourself, if you leave the site for the day you then have to try & find another pitch.
Wish I hadn’t booked here.

Liked Tent pitches were reasonably sizeable and situated near to washing facilities. There was easy access to the beautiful beach and the swimming pool and bar made up for days when the weather was too poor to enjoy the sand and sea.

Disliked The washing facilities and showers did become rather busy in the morning and they could have been cleaned more regularly, but they were adequate. Despite the location being beside a phenomenal stretch of astonishing coastline, the cost simply to camp was extortionate and alternative accommodation nearby happened to be much more reasonably priced.
