Kia ora! This quiet, eco-friendly spot has spacious sites, great sea views and lovely bush. Short walk to the village and coastal track – perfect for hikers. Facilities are basic but clean, with compost loos and hot showers. Friendly staff add to the chill vibe. A few folks found the shower timer a bit quick and paths a bit muddy.

In response to your review. We market our selves as a basic eco friendly, back to nature campsite in a great location just above Coverack bay with good basic facilities. If you are looking for an up market campsite with loads of facilities this is probably not the campsite for you. Re Wi Fi, we have good reception around the covered area but this does not extend around the campsite as the campsite is spread out over a large area to give campers plenty of space. We have very good 5g reception as the campsite is in site of the 5g mast. Walk under foot uneven ? We don't really get. But thank you for your review.

The Celtic pod was a great upgrade to our two man tent!

Liked Lovely position, felt suitably on our own. Having outside seating and a picnic bench was much appreciated. Plus a wood fire if we had arrived in time to order the wood (before 6pm)

Liked Site is beautifully kept, clean and spacious throughout, safari tent was ideal for multiple family members staying under one roof. staff was very accommodating and lovely people - checked in on us to make sure we were happy and settled and had their details should we need them but otherwise left us alone. Will definitely be returning
Disliked Beds not the comfiest but small price to pay as everything else is perfect

Liked Great location with an off road walk down to the village and large pitches.
Compost toilets were well provided but site nearly empty on my visit. I think the facilities would be busy in high season.
Site warden is off site but friendly and very helpful.
I particularly appreciate the provision of WiFi
