Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm is a peaceful site with small, sheltered meadows above the fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Heritage Coast. Surrounded by native plants and animals, it has access to a private five-minute valley walk to Coverack. In Coverack, there are most of the usual essential amenities, including a village shop, pub, takeaway and restaurant, as well as a harbour and a sandy beach. In the village, hire out a kayak or paddleboard to spend some time on the water if you wish. To keep the site as eco-friendly as possibl, Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm has conveniently placed compost toilets and solar thermal showers around the site. The large pitches have plenty of space, and campfires are also welcome. The farm is also a 15-minute drive from Kennack Sands and half an hour from Kynance Cove if you want to track down more beaches.

喜欢 We loved our short stay at Coverack Camping. The owner took the time to visit and great us for a chat, a personal touch we appreciated. The facilities may not be for everybody but are fabulous as far as we were concerned. Why don't more sites use eco-toilets?
The pitch was great. we had a huge choice as it's no longer high season. The walk to Coverack through the woods was a delight, as is Coverack itself. We would highly recommend the site to anybody who doesn't require shaved grass and flush loos. The peace was fabulous, as was the site rule for quiet times in the late evening. There is lots top see and do without travelling about and we will definitely return soon. Thanks for such a lovely and peaceful stay.

喜欢 We only stayed one night as we are walking the coast path but we loved our stay. The campsite had a very friendly feel and we loved all the eco credentials. The cheerful, upbeat notices amused us! And we were so appreciative of the kettle. The covered area with picnic benches was very useful. The location was great - very handy for the fabulous Roskilly’s. Thank you for having us.

不喜欢 Small pitches, felt like we were squeezed into our pitch between another campervan with a huge awning and on the other side there was a large tent with a car parked next to it. We felt we had to socialise with our neighbours as they were so close. Curiously there were a number if empty EHU pitches not far from where we had been allocated.

喜欢 A super cool camping spot! The toilets and showers were very good and the walk to the beach was lovely. We had a lovely little robin pop by our camp every now and then and we were lucky enough to see bats showing off as it got dark, couldn’t have had a nicer time😊

喜欢 Everything! Super relaxed and quiet campsite, the best maintained compost toilets I’ve ever used and Sam the manager is very friendly and helpful. There’s a really nice undercover bit with picnic benches, kettle, freezer etc and easy to use mutual spaces like showers and washing up station. It was nice without different broadcast music going off and campfires in hired fire pits are allowed as well as acoustic music. Doggies very welcome and we had an excellent time 😊

Get a taste of the surf at the Kennack Sands (15 minutes’ drive) surf school, then sculpt sandcastles on Gunwalloe’s fishing cove (20 minutes) or go snorkelling and rockpooling at the National Trust’s Kynance Cove (half an hour). There are art galleries in St Ives (50 minutes); a barren landscape at the Penwith Heritage Coast (an hour); and alluring coastal scenery at Land’s End (an hour) including ancient prehistoric sites and wild granite scenery. St Michael’s Mount (40 minutes) is another grand spot, accessible by tidal causeway. There’s a big cocktail of things to do in the area, from the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (15 minutes) to Falmouth’s gardens, port and maritime museum (40 minutes). Gardens also have their place – there’s the botanical Trebah Garden (35 minutes) or Eden Project's biomes (an hour and 20 minutes) further out.
