What customers say

A peaceful, adult-only spot near York, handy by bus. Praised for clean, roomy showers and a great cafe. Pitches are good. Some noted low shower water pressure and drainage issues after rain. Check-in is by email.

Liked Proximity to York
Electric and water at each pitch

Disliked Toilets and showers are very dated and not clean. If not in one of the few touring pitches close to the facilities, you have a VERY long walk to get there. There is an additional portlaloo near the tent and other tourers' pitches but they ask you not to use it unless an "emergency poo" as they only clean it once a week! However, most campers did indeed use it and it was disgusting...no light inside and the smell was horrendous. Spiders all over the main facilities block so this didn't indicate a deep clean daily by any staff.
This site mostly used by seasonal caravanners who are placed nearer to the facilities...despite most having own water supply.
Code emailed to you beforehand to access barrier but the key pad placed before the barrier so easy to miss
Most expensive site on our touring holiday but worst facilities

Liked Everything the showers hot and spotless.the shop sells some really nice things. The food in the cafe is really good have eaten in the cafe every time we have stayed.. the staff are friendly and welcoming.have to give 5 stars. There is a bus stop at the site entrance. Very quiet and peaceful. The pitches are level and well spaced not cramped with plenty of room for awning.
