What customers say
A top-notch, family-friendly spot with roomy pitches and spotless loos. The communal 'Roost' is a winner. Kids love campfires and the nature reserve playground. Near coast but A-road noise and darkness noted. Parking isn't pitch-side; some check-in code issues reported.

Great campsite for families
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Very family friendly, small with lots of space to run around for the kids. Tent pitches are widely spaced so you are definitely not on top of each other. Camp fires at night for marshmallow frying was a big hit with the kids. The Roost with communal fridge, kettles and microwaves made breakfast a breeze. Showers top notch. Hearing the geese fly over your heads and the birds chattering away. The stars at night!
Disliked You do unfortunately still hear the nearby A road amit all this idyll.

Family friendly!
Bell tent
Liked Lovely, family friendly, quiet site. Access to the nature reserve, and particularly the playground are a huge, huge bonus if your kids are the right age. Great location for Norfolk coast. Fast EV charger a mile away.
Disliked Check in was a little bit stressful. We'd been sent the wrong entry code by email, so us and another family were locked out on arrival at the site. Fortunately someone else left so we could get in before they closed up for the evening.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked It was our first time camping, so we wanted everything to be as simple as possible. I’m so glad we chose this place — great facilities, friendly staff, and an amazing atmosphere. The reserve is also highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing weekend!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Loved the hub, with microwave, kettle, plugs and fridge/freezers. Really nice touch and made camping with no electric much an easier. Loved Pensthorpe park and especially the out of hours for the campers only. Really friendly staff - couldn’t have done more for you. My son actually commented to say he felt like VIP. Great pitch sizes. Lovely layout.
Disliked Not being able to Park pitch side was exhausting. I do completely get why it is done from seeing the pitch layout, but it was exhausting especially going back and fourth when you’ve got young ones. We loved the communnual grass area and I feel this would benefit from some kind of play area equipment.
