N'a pas aimé Not being told ahead of time that all cooking would need to be done on shingle away from tents. Even a gas stove on metal kitchen. Some notice via email would have been appreciated.
Also we unfortunately had a lot of rain, and the path from car park to tents with wheelbarrow was super muddy - needs proper path or something to stop it being a mudbath

A aimé The site especially the kitchen facilities.
Toilets and showers were very clean
Onsite staff really helpful

N'a pas aimé I was confused by the reduced rate for entrance in to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve. I understood I could go in for half price but in reality it was only half price if you were going in to the reserve for 2 days as you only had to pay for one. If you went in for just one day then it was still full price. I feel this was not clear.

Large fridge, freezer, kettle & microwave available for use.

N'a pas aimé Late arrival time - between 5 & 7pm for all units causing lack of wheelbarrows to transport kit.

Only 1 sink + water point for whole site washing up.

A aimé Quiet, small, friendly, campsite, well organised, with good facilities, clean kitchen and shower/toilet areas

A aimé We had a wonderful time! We loved that the kids could play freely and safely with no cars around (although setting up was a bit of a workout 😂).

Having the playground open on a Saturday evening was fantastic and kept the children entertained. The showers were great, although a few standalone toilets would be a helpful addition.

The on-site restaurant made the whole trip so easy, and the location is absolutely beautiful. We’d definitely love to come back!

N'a pas aimé No dislikes but some coat pens in the showers and a toaster in the kitchen would be great.

A aimé Very family friendly, small with lots of space to run around for the kids. Tent pitches are widely spaced so you are definitely not on top of each other. Camp fires at night for marshmallow frying was a big hit with the kids. The Roost with communal fridge, kettles and microwaves made breakfast a breeze. Showers top notch. Hearing the geese fly over your heads and the birds chattering away. The stars at night!

A aimé Lovely family campsite, quiet and great for kids. Toilet and shower facilities are meticulously clean which was so great! Lovely to have access to electricity and a kettle and fridge/freezer.

A aimé Lovely, family friendly, quiet site. Access to the nature reserve, and particularly the playground are a huge, huge bonus if your kids are the right age. Great location for Norfolk coast. Fast EV charger a mile away.

N'a pas aimé Check in was a little bit stressful. We'd been sent the wrong entry code by email, so us and another family were locked out on arrival at the site. Fortunately someone else left so we could get in before they closed up for the evening.
