Traditional village pub (added by manager 01 Jul 2019)
Pitches up high so great views
Spacious serviced pitches
Pitches with rural views

  • Small site in the grounds of a Callow End traditional village pub
  • A 15-minute drive from the Malvern Hills and Worcester
  • Large beer garden with outdoor tables, play area and chickens
For those couples/travelling parties that frequently face disagreement over whose turn it is to be designated driver, there’s really only one sensible solution: bed down right there at the pub. Dozing off at the bar might be considered a little unseemly, so The Old Bush’s owners Matt and Karen have come up with a better solution and set up pitches in the garden area behind their rural Worcestershire pub. Thus guests can partake of dinners accompanied by a few local ales/ciders before strolling home (to a peaceful corner with drinking water, showers and 24-hour toilets) in just a couple of minutes – how civilised. In fact, the whole setup here is rather civilised: The Old Bush is a traditional country pub in the little village of Callow End, with food available at lunch and dinner times, plus a menu of mini meals for smaller guests. On warmer days the merriment spills out into the garden, where there’s a play area, an aviary and a little flock of chickens along with plenty of tables for open-air drinking, dining and admiring the views over the Malvern hills. Of course, one can’t sit around in the pub all day (well, maybe not every day, anyway…), so it’s worth noting that this is also a handy location for walks, horse riding, games of golf, fishing and days out in Worcester and Malvern (both 15 minutes away by car). Handily, if you do ‘accidentally’ sup one too many at lunchtime there’s a bus stop in the village so you can still get out and about.

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: The site, the cafe, the pub, the staff this place is soooo relaxing. We go again and again 🥰

Disliked: The toilet is not as wonderful as it used to be… I think it needs a little bit of TLC but is still very good facility. The WiFi is very bad both in the pub and on the site but the 4G is good in the area.

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: Lovely quiet site. Countryside views all around. Cafe and farm shop on site. The site is at the rear of The Old Bush pub/restaurant. The food was really good. The service we received was excellent.

Disliked: It's a steep walk back up to the MH, but the pitches are relatively level.(But without the hill, you wouldn't get the views)

Power optional gravel motorhome site

Liked: Lovely welcoming pub site with friendly locals and excellent food. Made a fuss of the dog too! Beautiful countryside and Worcester not far away. Little cafe and deli at site used by both camp site and locals.

Disliked: As the excellent showers were at the pub ( 100 yards away), the small hand wash basin was shared by two toilets on the site in a small space. Wasn't significant though as site was very quiet at this time of year.

From the manager: Hi John, Thankyou got your review. We are glad you had everything you needed. I can only apologise for our customers going up from the pub garden. We try our hardest to stop this from happening. But not everyone is as respectful as we would hope.
