What customers say

Peaceful adults-only site with spotless facilities. Great for canal walks & fishing. Cafe's good too. Some road noise & pitch/bin bits could be better.

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site

Liked Quiet adult only site with great amenities. The dog exercise area was a great bonus. We loved that it was next to the canal and an off road walk all the way to Whitchurch. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The on-site cafe was a bonus too, we had a lovely breakfast. The site was spacious and had everything we needed.

Local attractions

Staying close to home from Hadley Park, the old Shropshire town of Whitchurch is less than a mile away, and the walks of the Sandstone Trail as well as the hacks of the Bishop Bennet Way are easily accessible via the Shropshire and Union Canal on site. Elsewhere, several famed Shropshire and Cheshire sights are within 20 miles of the park, like Chester Cathedral and the city's Roman ruins and amphitheatre; Chester Zoo and Chester Racecourse; the fab follies of Hawkestone Park, and the llamas, alpacas and 50 acres of greenery of Cholmondeley Castle Gardens. Nearby Shrewsbury is famed for its annual flower show and for its Darwin Trail commemorating the life and work of evolution dude Charles Darwin who was born in the town. More modernly, a good range of plays are held at the new Severn Theatre and several riverside pubs and restaurants are around at which to while the night away. The bars, cafés and independent shops of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Llangollen are within driving distance: other top town picks are a picnic in Riverside Park, a stroll along Victoria Promenade, and a steam straight ahead on the Llangollen Railway.
