What customers say
A top family campsite with heaps of activities & a pool. Spacious, tidy sites & friendly staff. Some found facilities a bit old or it got noisy during busy spells. Dog policy got mixed feedback.

Great place, but noisy
Powered grass site (small)
Liked Great set up, with clean toilets and showers.
Food and choice of drinks great. Swimming pool looked fab, but we didn’t use
Disliked E-bikes and scooters with small children
Loud music
Site cancelled second booking even though pitch up allowed it.
Said accessible showers but no sets in the actual shower

Wouldn’t go back in a hurry.

Liked My kids loved the park. The size of the pitch was great and the privacy from the hedge.
Disliked Most other things. It was really hard to pitch as under the thin layer of grass is just stone. The pitches weren’t very well marked out and the map they give you is useless. The ladies in reception were very unhelpful and rude. The pool was freezing and not very clean. We were in the family pitches and they’re not anywhere near any toilets or washing up facilities. The showers are outdated and you have to be careful what time of day you shower as they might be cold. Some of the other campers were just feral!! One child got run over by another child going around on his motorbike!! I smelt drugs being smoked numerous times but didn’t see where it coming from. All in all we didn’t enjoy our stay here and won’t be rushing back.

Liked The park was nice for the kids
Disliked Everything else!!
There’s a long list of things that we disliked.. not enough toilets or washing up facilities, the ones there were filth.
The staff in reception were rude and extremely unhelpful.
The pool was freezing and dirty.
You can’t actually put any tent pegs in because it’s just rocks and stones under a thin layer of grass.
Majorly over crowed!

Fully-serviced grass and gravel site (super)
Liked Good sized pitches, cafe on site, two bars, one an adult only, open air swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area & a well stocked shop.
Disliked There's nothing I didn't like about the site.

Liked Pitch well marked out and plenty of space. Grass well kept and level
Disliked Lots of owners not keeping dogs on leads, many coming over to my pitch where my dogs were on leads.

Liked Great site good facilities swimming pool was good and jaks barn great for kids entertainment great play parks for kids

Probably wouldn’t return
Powered grass site (large, no pets)
Liked Tent pitches were close to clubhouse
Good quality park
Decent sized pitches
Disliked Lack of children’s entertainment (which consisted of a DJ from 7pm that favoured playing reggae music until people requested something more relevant.
Main toilet blocks toilets were temperamental on flushing
Toilet cabins were extremely dirty
Check in was overly complicated and time consuming 10minites waiting to check in then a further 10 minutes waiting for the warden. We were given a poorly printed unclear map, and told to wait on the pitch until the warden came over to tell us where to pitch, the pitch numbers weren’t clear or obvious so we waited until the warden was done talking to other guests that had just turned up.
Wasps everywhere. Literally constantly whilst outside the tent
Extremely noisy site. People making noise and music playing until midnight. No sign of the warden. And then noise again at 6.30am with parents unable to keep their kids quiet.
The site has potential to be so much better, but just felt tired and outdated

Wouldn’t be going there again.

Liked Area it was situated in. Most staff friendly.
Disliked The pitch ground was thin layer of patchy grass underneath was stone or concrete almost impossible to get tent pegs into. You needed substantial tent pegs to be able to knock them into the ground
