Loved it! Would definitely stay again, surrounded by wheat fields.
Unpowered grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Really peaceful, went on a Sunday on a really warm summer evening and still only around 6 people there. Basic campsite - cold showers, toilets are portaloos but clean and well-stocked. Check-in and out via text.

Basic, relaxed and quiet site perfect for Ridgeway walks.
Unpowered grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Great location, large open field site, generous pitch sizes which you choose on arrival. Very relaxed place and check in is really simple via text and leave your number plate.
Text number very responsive to questions and clarification ahead of our stay.
Disliked Would have loved some trees or option for shade but otherwise, very good value for money.

Liked Wonderful, quiet location. Huge pitches, flat ground, easy to get the pegs in. The owners came round to check everyone. Good rules to keep the site as quiet as possible.

Liked Laid back site with amazing views.
Checking in was easy, and I received a text the day before with the details of how to collect the fire pit that was booked.
Portaloo toilets were checked and cleaned each morning - yes they smell, but that's the fact of them.
There were some red kites who flew close to us and the ground which was lovely to watch.
Disliked There was a youth or school group on the reserved pitches on the Saturday who arrived after a hike. They were very loud and boisterous when they arrived and into the evening, however they went to bed about 9pm and so didn't cause any issues after this. We were pitched right next to the reserved pitches, and will probably just pitch elsewhere next time.
