  • Small, family-friendly site in the Lincolnshire countryside
  • Two miles from Skegness and 15 minutes' drive from Ingoldmells
  • On-site play area and laundry facilities
Folk setting off for Skegness will certainly find a friendly welcome at Top Yard Farm Caravan Park, a small family-run site two miles from the lively Lincolnshire coastal resort. And in settling here you'll be in a fine spot both for seaside times in Skegness and for all the surrounding area has to offer. (Hint: quite a bit.) You'll pick up on the amicable vibe as soon as you arrive at this well-maintained Lincolnshire spot, whether that's a welcome from the Top Yard Farm team themselves or meeting the other guests who come here for the family-friendly atmosphere. As well as being close to Skegness seafront, this site is about five minutes' drive from the village of Croft, where there's a pub that's just the place for catching up with friends old and new over a drink or meals out when you just don't fancy cooking. The facilities here are well kept, and include a toilet and shower block, a drinking water tap, and sinks for dishwashing and laundry. A play area is on hand to tire out the kids, and a dog walk for canine guests.

What customers say

A top spot for families, this friendly, clean site boasts helpful owners & a great play area. Spotless facilities are a winner. Road noise is noted, but proximity to Skegness & peace prevail. Stored caravans are a minor downside for some.

Liked Great space and facilities especially with having 2 six year olds. Shower/toilet block and wash up station immaculate and the kids loved the option of a bath!!
Fab hosts and more than helpful being only a phone call away at all hours! Perfect location to local amenities, will definitely be back.

Disliked Park needs some attention as quite unsteady and wobbly, but with multiple kids playing it was secure enough.

Liked We had an electric tent pitch for 2 nights. Very welcoming and friendly, site was easy to find and close to shops and attractions but not too close as to be disturbed by the noise.

Site itself is easy to navigate and clean, they had a climbing frame with swings and slide for the children, although that has seen better days.

The toilets were excellent I would actually say the best I've seen at a site, beautifully maintained and cleaned.

We never went into the bar so can't comment on what that is like, it does say cash only though on it so if you do want a drink have cash.

Disliked Wasn't much to dislike about this I'll be honest. My only real gripe would be that our pitch was the furthest away from the electric hook up but we were able to borrow a big enough extension so wasn't a massive issue.

Also if you don’t like children playing this one probably isn't for you.

Liked Easy to deal with, no issues at all. Very helpful and informative hosts. The blackberry bushes were a nice bonus (kept the kids entertained picking for a while!).

Disliked Not a dislike but the play park could do with an upgrade. Again not a dislike as the park was as pictured/described.

Liked Was greeted by Val she was really helpful and explained everything where to find showers and toilet etc. The site was clean and tidy and pitches were big.

Disliked When we stayed there was a few dogs that were constantly barking this is not the problem for Val and Eric but for the dog owners themselves they did eventually settled down after a few hours

Liked We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning next year!
The pitches are really spacious, with plenty of room and your car parked right next to your tent, which made unloading and packing so much easier.
One of the biggest highlights for us was that the playground was in clear view of our pitch, so we could keep an eye on our two young children while relaxing at the tent.
Val, the owner, was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. You can really see how much she cares about the campsite. The facilities were spotless, and we even saw Val cleaning them every day, which was really reassuring.
The campsite was lovely and peaceful too, with virtually no noise after 10:30 pm, making for a great night's sleep.
The price for our two-night stay was more than reasonable, especially considering the high standard of the campsite.
We honestly couldn't fault our stay and can't wait to come back again next year. Highly recommended!

Disliked Nothing at all

Top Yard Farm is within easy travelling distance of Skegness, with its beach, pier and three-storey amusement arcade as well as non-seasidey town things like the National Parrot Sanctuary, Natureland Seal Sanctuary, Skegness Golf Centre and the Embassy Theatre. Bars, nightclubs and restaurants are plentiful too if you're sticking around in town into the night. On the edge of Skegness, running to the mouth of the Wash, is another famed Lincolnshire coastal spot in the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, home to gulls, waders and wildfowl around its lagoons, saltmarsh, dunes, foreshore and beach. The reserve has a visitor centre and a bird observatory, along with marked walks and trails. A little further north along the coast are other much-visited seaside towns in Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe; Ingoldmells and the Fantasy Island theme park are a few miles south. Inland, pick up food, antiques, souvenirs and more at Lincolnshire's market towns like Spilsby (nine miles), Alford (15 miles), Louth (20 miles) and Boston (20 miles).
