Top Yard Farm Caravan Park

Ik was blij met We were very happy with our stay. The owner was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers were clean, and overall the campsite was peaceful and well maintained.

Unfortunately, there was one significant downside. The tent field was effectively being used by some dog owners as a dog walking area and toilet. Dogs were regularly urinating and defecating on the grass, including in areas where children were playing and where other guests had their tents.

It was particularly unpleasant when, for example, we were sitting outside having breakfast and just a few metres away — around 5 metres from us — a dog was being allowed to poo on the grass. This is simply not something you expect or want to experience while eating your breakfast on a campsite.

Although most owners picked up the poo, the urine was simply left behind. Some owners also left large amounts of dog hair around the campsite.

What was particularly frustrating was that these dog owners were staying on the separate caravan field next to the tent field. Instead of walking their dogs there, they repeatedly came onto the tent field and allowed their dogs to use it as a toilet and walking area.

Apart from this issue, we had a very pleasant stay.

Ik was blij met Absolutely lovely little site. Easy to find, great basic facilities. Showers were clean and super hot which was such an added bonus. Showers are 50p for 5 mins however I personally don’t mind paying this when you actually get decent shower flow and hotness. We were greeted on arrival by Amanda and she was lovely and hello full. Nice little kids play area were my daughter met a few friends. Couldn’t have asked for a better site for the weekend and can not knock the price for the area. This site was the cheapest with electric hook up and honestly if we come to this side of the coast again we would certainly return.

Ik was blij met Our second stay at Top Yard, we will be back again 🙂. Nice little play area for the kids and plenty of space in the field for kids to play football/on bikes etc. Pitches are a good size & tents were spaced out nicely so we still got our bit of privacy. Close to Skegness. Good access to local shops etc Clean toilets & shower block.

Ik was niet blij met Felt cramped as was pitched at the side of and hemmed in the corner and also kids was not supervised at all . We was told to walk our dog in a certain place but noticed everyone from the caravans n other tents just walked there dogs round the pitch up area .
They said they was a pub on site it was not open at all

We are sorry to see you didn't enjoy your stay.
We just wanted to point out that we don't advertise the bar as it's been closed for 2 years now. If you'd paid attention to the facilities listed as being onsite you'll notice there is no mention of a bar.
Also it's not down to us to supervise other people's children and we totally agree it's not great that they are left to run a mock on site. I'd like to think you didn't mark us down on things we can't control like other guests?

Ik was blij met Nice sight it was tidy . Noisy from a busy A 52. Showers were clean and tidy. Gave the grandkids a nice holiday play ground was good for the kids. Nice to see the caravans lit up at night would I go back again yes I would.
