What customers say
Lovely, peaceful Cotswolds site near Painswick. Friendly welcome, great facilities with lodge, kitchen & fire. Wildlife galore! Single shower/toilet can be busy. Minor midge/pitch quirks, but overall a top chill country getaway.

Lovely, quiet and secluded lake cabin for a quiet and relaxing stay
Mill Pool camping pod
Liked Lovely, quiet and secluded cabin by a lake. Plenty of privacy - perfect for a couple to get away and relax. Nice views from sitting on the deck. Handy BBQ and logs. Breakfast basket was a welcome treat
Disliked No sink/tap in the toilet to wash hands after using the toilet. Had to wash hands in the shower next door, which worked, but not very comfortable. Also, lack of electricity in the cabin provides slight inconvenience, but again, not a huge deal.

great stay and would return without question!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked A lovely, private and perfectly facilitated quiet spot. Very welcoming hosts and with the village just on your doorstep you have the best of all ways to enjoy the stay.
Disliked Not an adult only site, for those needing that using the website filter. But aside from that a perfect stay.

Mill Pool camping pod
Liked A lovely little gem, very peaceful. Lots of wildlife bats, owls and of course the fish! Very well thought out although simple had everything needed. Even down to the positioning of the firepit to catch the last of the sun in the evenings. Even the neighbours ( cattle) were friendly. Milk and hot water delivered in morning was a lovely touch also a little treat for me left on morning of my departure. Would highly reccomend for a peaceful few nights.
Disliked Shower was unfortunately not working however this could not be helped and an alternative available so not even really a problem. Just that it looked so lovely to use! Owner tried to fix and did everything she could and kept me informed so no problem.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely peaceful site, nestled in the hills below Painswick, next to a large fishing pond. There are four pitches with picnic benches and a smaller pitch under the trees which was just perfect for my little tent. There is also a communal indoor space with sofas and kitchen facilities for if it's raining. Shower was hot and was cleaned regularly. I enjoyed a campfire and listening to tawny owls and little owls.
Disliked An additional shower/toilet would have been helpful, but it wasn't too much of a problem to wait.
