What customers say
Quiet site, stunning spot & modern facilities. No music policy is a winner. Spacious pitches, often on the edge. Local pub's a hit. Toilets can get busy at peak times, with a few wanting more cubicles. Staff are helpful.

Lovely location for Walkers, clean spacious site.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Really loved the quiet big open site ( only 4 or 5 other pitches taken whilst I was there). Facilities nice & clean. Warden friendly.
The village pub The Bull’s Head had really lovely staff & great food, with the added bonus of 10% discount for staying at Brosterfield. 😁
Short walk or drive to it. Ideal location for exploring the area.
Didn’t use WiFi as I had great phone signal.
Disliked Just concerned the press down taps in the Ladies toilets were so slow switching off & it seems a waste of water 😳
Nothing else to dislike 😁

Lovely, quiet campsite with excellent facilities.…
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely, quiet campsite with excellent facilities. It was really nice how the pitches were only around the perimeter of the field so it didn't feel as cramped as other campsites. The location was great too, with plenty of beautiful hiking routes nearby and local pubs within walking distance. Really appreciated how clear the instructions were ahead of arrival too.
Disliked There was a queue for the toilets in the morning as it's a small block, but this really wasn't all that bad.

Really lovely newish site.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Quiet so meant a nice empty space in the centre for kids to play. Close to a lovely pub and great walks. Clean and tidy.
Disliked Email gave a pitch number then followed by its a free for all. The pitch number sticks are central making it hard to figure out your pitch and often taken over by the next one. Post should mark start of a pitch and the next post shows clearly the end. Corner where we were was nice pitch but there was a pitch next to it that if someone had been in we would have had no space to sit outside tent (and it was a small tent). Entrance signage could have been bigger as its easy to miss. Wood around taps in bathroom needs replacing as very mouldy. I can see if it was busy that 2 toilets would not be enough and the toilet door is touching your knees (and im not very big).

Lovely quiet campsite on a large grass field, close to a good pub.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Lovely showers/toilets (2 loos & 3 showers in the ladies and 2 loos & 2 showers in the gents), very quiet, hire of fire pits, wardens friendly and let me put a couple of freeze blocks in their freezer. 5 min walk to the pub and pavement all the way so didn't have to walk in the road. Hairdryer provided. Electric showers so always had hot water.
Disliked No freezer you can access yourself yet for freeze blocks but said they are planning to put one in soon. The wardens did let me put the freeze blocks in their freezer but then needed to c-ordinate to get themback.
