What customers say
A tidy, peaceful spot in a stunning locale, perfect for adventuring in the Peak District. Guests rave about the clean, modern facilities, generous pitches, and easy access to a pub. Staff are friendly, and security's good. Occasional waits for showers or sinks during busy periods and minor quirks like cool wash-up water or compact loos were noted, but overall, it's a winner, with heaps keen to come back.

Liked Very well kept field with a lovely clean shower/toilet block! The showers were very hot and there was a hairdryer in the ladies block!
Good communication before hand and even though we did not see the owner/warden when we were there we were made to feel they were very approachable if they were needed!

Liked The space in the camping field. The facilities - the toilets, showers, washing up area are really good.
The site is close to the village and the village pub (The Bull’s Head) which is fantastic- for atmosphere, service, drinks and food. Book a table if you’re planning on going on a Saturday night.
Disliked Hot water appears to be rare in the hot water taps. Couldn’t pick up the site wifi.

Liked I really enjoyed my solo camp here.
From the warm welcome from the owner to the super clean and well maintained shower block and washing up facilities. The tent pitches had green, newly cut grass. A well maintained site in a beautiful area. Peaceful and relaxing. The drive to the site was beautiful - rolling hills and dry stone walls. Shame I wasn’t staying for longer. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
