Great staff & atmosphere! Spacious pitches, clean hot showers, fab for walks & pubs. Good value, but some found facilities a bit tired & road noise. Bin issues addressed by management.

Liked My in laws broke down a few miles away from the site en route, the owner went and rescued them, towing them back at no charge. Excellent service.
Showers are powerful, pitches are a good size.
Disliked A little hard to find, you’ll need to spot a small green sign but that’s very minor

Great camping site for families with very spacious pitches

Liked Friendly staff on site who made us feel welcomed. We stayed for two nights to visit family in Derby and we were allowed to have them come to us on the camp site. The showers were hot and the toilet and shower block was kept clean
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Liked We love this site as we’ve got 6 dogs , 4 children plus adults and they can just play and have fun , everyone is respectful of one another and it’s just such a relaxed site . The toilets & showers are nice and clean
Disliked The only downside is the showers are very small and there isnt anywhere to get dressed after

The reception man was nice and friendly
Only 4.5 mins I timed it 😂 walk to the cafe at the canal and the pub . Had a great lunch at the cafe and the dinner at the pub
All in all great place to stay

Well worth the money, great stop over for nearby places.

Liked Friendly owners that treated us on arrival and explained what facilities were where.
Disliked Nothing, I only marked it 9 out of 10 as the grass was a little long.

Liked Nice quiet site, handy for visiting friends in Derby. Owner really helpful, especially when we needed an oxygen delivery for my wife.

We are planning a return already.
Unpowered grass site
Liked Spotless toilets and showers. Brett and his dad are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much effort. Great idea with the communal kitchen area, it always seemed busy. Best thing is the location. Within 5 minuite walk you are on the canal towpath, turn left and walk into either Willington marina , or a host of pubs and cafe in the village, perfect on a summers weekend.
Disliked Not the quietist of sites with road noise, but its not too loud to disrupt sleep etc.
£30 a night without ehu is a bit steep for what is basically a field, with nop designated pitches.
