What customers say
A top spot for a no-frills camping trip with amazing views. Friendly hosts, good value, and pick your own spot. Basic but clean facilities. Great for Peak District walks and pubs. Some pitches are sloped, BYO loo roll!

Fabulous
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Scenery is lovely, short walk to the pub and Lathkill Dale can do a loop. Toilets and bin provided, very reasonably priced. Have been three times now and won’t be the last.

The location and space to pitch…
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked The location and space to pitch up was fantastic and the toilets were simple but clean. The site was nice and quiet and people were very respectful
Disliked The owner came at 7pm to check we were ok and that was the only time we saw him. As you can only use wood that is bought from the site, we decided after wee had seen the owner that we did want to buy some wood, but there was no way you can do this after seeing him this one time. Ideally, the site could do with a way to buy wood and coals at more times than just the one time you see the owner.
