喜欢 What a lovely peaceful campsite! Two nice fields to camp out in with a few toilets on site. Really enjoyed my day and evening here camping in my tent with my doggy. There are so many lovely fields nearby to walk through - Over Haddon village is a short walk from the campsite. Youlgreave is also a lovely hours walk along fields, woods and by Lathkill Dale River leading to River Bradford for a swim.
There’s drinking water available on site too.
It’s great for camping solo, with family, with dogs and also for couples.. highly recommend. Will definitely be staying again - thank you 🙏
不喜欢 Not really something that can be helped but the fields are on a hill so there is a slight tilt but it didn’t really appear to be too much of an issue to us, I have learned for next time that I need to turn my bed the other way round so I don’t feel like I’m rolling down the hill in the night 🤣

喜欢 Stayed a single night in a small tent, right beside the car. Lovely rural setting with an open aspect and views of higher ground and wooded areas. Found a level spot easily but a lot of the rest of the site is gently sloping.
Despite lots of other campers in tents and vans everyone was politely quiet after 10:30 or so and I had no trouble dropping off.
The basic but clean, cold water facilities were fine and what I expected.
Despite it being high season with a fair few others I didn't have to queue to ablute.
The outside wash-up station was fine and useful.
A solid recommend from me if basic will work for you.

喜欢 Top marks. As close to wild camping as you can get without breaking the law. Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic views and spotless loos. An easy 25-minute walk takes you to a pub with spectacular views that’s well worth the trip. I’d happily come back.

喜欢 Great location, super friendly and chill owner, and easy to find and check in. Amazing views and the other campers were all quiet by around midnight on both Friday and Saturday
不喜欢 Was hoping there would be a path direct to Lathkill dale but couldn’t find one. Appreciate that’s a big ask though! A smaller ask might be hand soap in the toilets. I didnt mind bringing my own toilet roll but I was a bit caught out by the lack of soap
